LEARNING ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING WITH HEC PARIS I had the opportunity of deepening my understanding of global warming during a thought-provoking two-day retreat in Chamonix Mont Blanc (French Alps) with a group of HEC Paris faculty members. Led by exceptional speakers like Ludovic Ravanel we explored high mountain paths and witnessed firsthand the impact on glaciers. In the next 50 years, the smaller glaciers in the Chamonix Valley face the risk of complete disappearance, while larger glaciers are projected to retreat to very high altitudes. This stark reality underscores the imperative to integrate sustainability into our teaching practices. By incorporating sustainability into business education, we are molding responsible leaders who can drive positive change in society, ultimately fostering better business outcomes. Kudos to Deans Andrea Masini and Anne MICHAUT for orchestrating this enlightening retreat with their world-class team.
