My question for this infrastructure project is how will the people in these condos get to and from their homes as the Yonge street corridor is a narrow strip of road downtown, I think leadership teams are not working together or something is fractured in our municipal governance.

Transformative Northeast False Creek #development revealed by Concord Pacific More than six years later, Concord Pacifichas now created a far more ambitious and transformative concept for developing its site in Northeast False Creek, which is one of the last major undeveloped waterfront parcels of the downtown #Vancouver peninsula and Concord Pacific’s last remaining undeveloped site from its original acquisition of the Expo ’86 lands. There will now be 12 buildings, including standalone towers and mid-rise base podiums of about 20 storeys, towers between 40 and 50 storeys, and a landmark pair of “Gateway” twin towers at the westernmost edge of the site. The cancelled concept’s tallest towers were also the Gateway towers, previously reaching 41 storeys in height. At 60 storeys each, the Gateway twin towers would become some of the City of Vancouver’s new tallest towers, possibly even the tallest — exceeding the current tallest of the Living Shangri-La Vancouver tower, which stands at 659 ft. Vancouver's Plaza of Nations has been quietly sold. Its new owner has big plans Vancouver’s Plaza of Nations, a prominent but largely derelict waterfront parcel, has been sold for an undisclosed sum. The price is believed to be several hundreds of millions of dollars. There has been renewed attention on False Creek’s northeast shore — the last undeveloped waterfront piece of the Expo 86 lands — after Concord Pacificunveiled its vision for a massive #development on the land immediately east of the Plaza of Nations. The new owner is called Northchild Group. It is little known here and has no track record of #development in #Vancouver. Concord Pacificsaid last week its 12-tower proposal, which includes 65-storey #skyscrapers — taller than any in #Vancouver — was prompted by city council’s decision last year to relax view-protection policies.
