When the Ugonna makes a cash sale, he writes it down in their sales book. If the sale was done through bank transfer, he still writes it down in that same book. When a customer buys on credit, it is that same book. When the book is filled up, they buy a new one and abandon the old book containing their daily, weekly and monthly sales record, inventories and even their debtors. And because it is just that book, the other sales personnel have to take turns inputting whatever sales they make. What does this mean for the business? ✔️The business record can get damaged at any time. ✔️The books will begin to occupy physical space after a while ✔️Making changes will make the book messy at a point ✔️Lack of organization ✔️Collaboration between workers is impossible ✔️Slow retrieval of previous information stored in the book All these can be avoided with a simple tool like google sheet. Mr Opara no longer needs to record his inventories in a book that can damage at any time. Ugonna and all his other sales personnel don’t have to take turns inputting their sales.
