🚀 Serena's VC Funding Trends in #NatureTech 2024  highlights: Nature tech deals surged from 162 in 2022 to 205 in 2023. Early-stage VC investments surged by 35% to reach $656 million in 2023. Late-stage VC investments witnessed 10% growth. While agritech has traditionally dominated nature tech investments, in terms of early-stage investments, "MRV and Biodiversity credits" emerged as the top category, attracting $204 million in funding. 🌍 Europe and Asia are rapidly catching up with the United States in terms of VC funding for nature tech. Europe even surpassed the US for early-stage funding in 2023.

In 2022, the sector received $1.6 billion in venture capital funding, and CTVC, a company specializing in the analyses of global climate tech funding trends, predicted that markets such as nature tech will continue to grow in 2024 and 2025. #biodiversity #AI #climatetech
