Nothing but net
Yesterday, I had a few people reach out, asking how I felt about Purdue University's Zach Edey cutting off the net without using our WernerCo. Podium ladder. Surprisingly, I wasn't upset - I applaud his technique. As a ladder safety trainer, I consistently emphasize the importance of prioritizing safety at heights. Zach's method aligns perfectly with the first principle of the hierarchy of controls, Hazzard Elimination - where the most effective way to ensure safety is by eliminating the need to work at heights and developing ways to conduct the work while keeping both feet firmly planted on the ground.
