When do you need two resumes to hit an Oil & Gas job target? When you have technical AND management goals. For instance, a completions engineer might want to target high-level technical engineering roles as an advisor, SME or consultant. At the same time, they might also want to break into a management role where they need to highlight their skills in collaboration, supervision, and/or departmental direction. Sometimes you want to be more in the weeds and other times you’ll want to be more high level. The tricky thing is that if you try to walk the line between both with one resume, you may come across as a 50% fit for both types of roles. Have you run into this before? We have an urgent opening for an operating company based in Qatar.   Designation :- Operations Advisor Qualification:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.   Responsibilities: · 10 years supervisory and technical experience in gas operations including 3 years in various project development activities, i.e. commissioning and start-up. · Oversee execution of the Operations deliverables for assigned company’s project through daily interfaces with PMT, Operations Start-up Managers and the company’s permanent Organization. · Provide all inputs to project documentations for all “operations” related documents and ancillary system (Project Philosophies, PIDs, C&E charts, ESD logic diagrams, Spare parts, First fill, Operator Training System, Pipeline Management System, Emergency Pipeline Repair Strategy, Hand-Over process and philosophies and Project Gate documents). · Review and input key end-user specifications such as ICSS HMI specifications, Hierarchy views, Operator Training Systems and Pipeline Management System where relevant. · Maintain appropriate issues register to identify areas where improvements and/or recovery plans are required. Review findings and corrective actions required from internal and external readiness and/or peer reviews, identify parties responsible and monitor closure. · Provide monthly progress and stewardship reporting and identification of the key issues to Operations and company’s Management. ·  Facilitate Operations lessons learned into the project design, identify areas for improvement and assists in providing and implementing best practices where applicable. ·  Ensure all lessons learned that are occurring in the construction, commissioning, start-up, and initial operations are being captured through management of the lesson learned data base. · Manage the risk assessment of deliverables, audit findings and readiness reviews findings to identify the priorities required for each responsible party. Coordinates actions to address risk mitigation requirements associated with new technologies that will be used in expansion projects. ·  Facilitate Operations handover process and documentation from Project to Asset owner.
