Sanity Pack Saturday. Do you know it is very important to refill. Just like a car that runs out of fuel and need a refill so is your life. We can be running too fast so many things to do and you find yourself running on empty because you don't pause to refill. What happens if you don't refill you find yourself irritating, angry, every small thing affects you, for some even crying for no particular reason. The truth is you are just tired you need to rest. You can find ways to refill depending with your personality. Being an introvert mine is alone times, music, or walking to a good restaurant and just eat plantains ahhh... CJ's has good ones. I try my level best to be intouch with myself to know when to stop and breath. So can you learn how to refill, do not hide behind many meetings always at work, always never at home, be in touch with yourself. Pause it will make a lot of difference in your life. #SanitypackSaturdays#

People be out here talking about inner peace but ready to throw hands over a drive-thru order being wrong. Like, how you out here meditating in the morning and threatening a 16-year-old barista by noon? That oat milk ain’t got you in alignment, my guy. Everybody’s tryna fix the outside world like peace is something you unlock after filing enough complaints. “If my boss wasn’t an idiot, if my partner texted back faster, if traffic wasn’t so damn disrespectful, then I’d be at peace.” Nah. If your entire sense of calm can be snatched by a cold McMuffin, that’s not peace—that’s a hostage situation. Real peace? That’s when life hits you with nonsense, and instead of spiraling, you just sit there like, Huh. That’s wild. No nervous breakdown, no five-paragraph text, no plotting imaginary arguments in the shower. Just chill. Fixing the world? Impossible. Fixing yourself? Still hard, but at least you don’t have to wait on customer service to get it done. Connect with your Source Energy and stop letting a minor inconvenience turn you into a villain origin story. #InnerPeace #SpiritualJourney #PeaceWithin #SelfAwareness #Meditation #Mindfulness #IfItStealsYourPeaceItOwnsYou #FreeYourselfBeforeYouCurseOutTheUberDriver

As a busy parent, does it ever feel like your “me time” needs to be the Best Time Ever in order to justify it? Then, when the restaurant you went to with friends is “just okay,” a guilt cycle begins. I’ve been sharing strategies to combat the guilt cycle with my series: 14 DAYS OF REST & PLAY: BREAKING THE GUILT CYCLE Today is DAY 4: setting expectations for your rest and play time. Today, I give you permission to *lower your expectations* of your play and rest time. Your meetup with your friend doesn’t have to be an amazing bonding sesh — its goal can simply be to have adult interaction. Your walk doesn’t have to be beautiful — it can just give you some vitamin D. Counterintuitively, these tiny goals can help build your capacity for having fun and better integrating rest and play time into your life. Most immediately, lowering expectations of a night out can stop a guilt cycle in its tracks. So even if your outing sucked, you at least won’t have to spend the entire day *following the outing* in a guilt spiral. So that’s one day of agony instead of two. Please share your silliest “tiny goals” for a fun outing below. Here’s mine: Stare at a wall and scroll Reddit for 30 min. Guess what? I accomplished that goal readily. #burnoutprevention #selfcare #selflove #burnout #burnoutcoach #mentalhealth #stressmanagement #motivation #worklifebalance #stressrelief #inspiration #stress #overwhelm #mindset #worklifebalanced #selfcaretips Powered by @tagomatic

The Empty Teacup: A Sunday Reminder This Sunday morning started like any other. After a week filled with deadlines, chores, and family responsibilities, Anita finally carved out a moment for herself. She brewed her favorite masala chai, sat by the window, and took a deep breath. But even with this pause, something felt off—like she was running on empty. Her six-year-old son joined her with his art supplies and asked, “What’s wrong, Ma?” She hesitated before admitting, “I feel like I’m always pouring into everyone else’s cup and forgetting to fill my own.” His response stopped her in her tracks. He dipped a paintbrush into water and said, “See, Ma? The brush only works if it’s full of water. Maybe you need to fill up, too.” Sometimes, wisdom comes from the most unexpected places. That morning, Anita let go of the to-do list. She painted with her son, danced to an old Bollywood song, and read a few pages of her favorite book. By the end of the day, she felt lighter. She learned that self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential. That night, as she tucked her son into bed, he whispered, “Ma, your cup is full now, isn’t it?” And for the first time in weeks, her answer was “Yes.” Takeaway: Don’t forget to pause and refill your emotional teacup. Only when your cup is full can you truly pour into others. (What’s your favorite way to recharge? Let me know in the comments.) This structure maintains the engaging storytelling approach from the examples while ensuring a clear takeaway and call-to-engagement at the end. Let me know if you’d like further tweaks! #SelfCare #WorkLifeBalance #EmotionalWellness #MindfulLiving #PersonalGrowth #LeadershipLessons #ParentingWisdom #LifeLessons #MentalHealthMatters #Inspiration #SundayThoughts #RefillYourCup #Storytelling
