As I’m sure everyone is aware by now, the tragedies going on in California right now are unimaginable. I’ve been trying to actively find ways that we can help out to impact in a way that is productive to the issue at hand. We won’t know where exact help is needed until the fires have been subsided and have an end point. With that being said, a good idea that was brought up was to assist those who are the front lines as they are fighting these endless fires and putting their lives on the line for their community. They are exhausted and trying their best to keep up with the constant spread of flames. Many places are donating meals and supplies to those in need including Le Great Outdoor located in Santa Monica. For now I’ve come across a few sites and options and this one in particular stuck out to me. Even with parts of Santa Monica being issued an evacuation notice, this restaurant seems to still be in a safe zone. Donate a meal if you can to these hardworking individuals (and to evacuees) or share this to your page! I’ll keep looking for ways to do my part to help out, I’ll update if I find anything else that would help helpful for us to do 🤍 the link to the site is listed below: https://lnkd.in/eX5T_tEs Shoutout to Le Great Outdoor for helping out and doing their part to support everyone affected. These are the times we need one another. Connection is important. Showing up for your community is important. Being selfless during this time is important. #CaliforniaWildfires #Wildfires #CaliforniaFires #ClimateChange #Community #firefighting #doyourpart

As wildfires continue to affect LA County, the #resilience and #courage of first responders, firefighters, and volunteers working tirelessly to protect our communities inspire us all. Let’s come together as a #community to provide support where it’s needed most—whether that’s donating to relief efforts, offering resources to displaced families, or sharing accurate information to help those in need. Here are a few ways you can help: - Donate to organizations providing relief and shelter. It is unfortunate but please check that your donations, especially monetary, are going to verified organizations towards this effor. - Check on neighbors and offer assistance if possible. Even if your neighborhood is not impacted by fire, air conditions are really bad which will contribute to health issues. - Stay informed and share updates responsibly to avoid misinformation. The Watch Duty app is a great resource. https://lnkd.in/gJ3KQ4rk https://lnkd.in/gbgeGAKF Let’s show the strength of LA County by coming together during this challenging time. 💛 To my friends and colleagues out of LA County, if you would like any information about local needs or resources, please send me a message. #LACountyStrong #WildfireRelief #CommunitySupport

The scale of devastation caused by the LA fires is staggering. Entire communities have been reduced to ashes, livelihoods destroyed, and countless families are left with nothing but uncertainty. This isn’t a moment for red vs. blue debates, it’s a time for humanity to rise above and come together. At Sustainably Fresh, we’re taking action by donating $500 to the LA Fire Department, supporting their tireless efforts to protect lives and communities. But the need is overwhelming, and we can do more together. I challenge others to match this donation or contribute to organizations on the front lines of relief and recovery. These families need our support, not our politics. Let’s focus on what matters most: helping those who’ve lost everything rebuild their lives. #LAFires #HumanityFirst #SupportAndRebuild

Many of you know that I have the honor of serving on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (#HabitatLA). Recognizing that #HabitatLA is uniquely positioned to support the short and long-term ReBUILDing efforts (as was done during the Creek fire a few years ago (https://lnkd.in/g_ecUDBj), #HabitatLA announced a couple of days ago that we are launching ReBUILD LA®, a long-term emergency response campaign aimed at helping those affected by these devastating fires. Donations to the ReBUILD LA® campaign will: --Help those who have lost everything rebuild or relocate, ensuring they have a safe place to call home. --Provide essential goods through gift cards to purchase food and other necessary items. --Support households whose homes are uninhabitable with rental or mortgage assistance and other intermediate housing needs. --Replace home furnishings with vouchers for Habitat’s ReStores. --Offer assistance to vulnerable survivors who have been left without options to afford housing. So many have been impacted in this time of great tragedy, and many are looking for ways to help - please join me and many others by making a personal and corporate donation today that will help families ReBuild their lives.
