Our Tennis Esports userbase has increased sixfold in the last 3 weeks only. We are not an isolated case. Calls are being made like crazy and most colleagues say that VR software sales have increased threefold. At Tennis Esports we don’t just see new sales. The use of the existing headset owners was also phenomenal over the Christmas period. Thousands and thousands of VR tennis matches have been played day by day, more than ever before. The currently most played VR game Gorilla Tag reached more than 90,000 concurrent users over Christmas, 2.5 times more than before. Does this mean that VR has become mainstream? No, I do not think so. But we'll get answers from analysts very soon about what happened to VR over Christmas. Meta's next quarterly report, expected in late January or early February, will provide a more concrete assessment of sales success compared to previous years as Meta breaks out Meta Reality Labs revenue for every quarter. Will VR Be Able To Replace Sports? 🤨🥊⚽️ I tried boxing in Meta Quest 3 and it's crazy how much I got tired while having fun! Not too long ago I tried playing Beat Saber and noticed that games like this can allow you to do a warm up or even wear you out So I decided to go further and see how much stronger more active games can help warm up and see if it can replace sports I think that if you're not interested in doing sports and going to different sections or gyms, VR sports can give you the same desire These games take away all the routine of the training process and deliver a lot of positive emotions, a kind of beta version of certain sports I think it's incredible because it can allow people to find new hobbies or generally encourage people to exercise Do you think VR sports are real?
