We are delighted that during our Women Deliver #WD2023 reception last week, Arielle Kayabaga on behalf of Global Affairs Canada | Affaires mondiales Canada announced a $10 million CAD allocation to MSI, for our ‘Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights’ project. The project, which is a part of Canada’s SheSoars initiative, will provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services for women, adolescents, those living in extreme poverty, people living with disabilities, and conflict-and-displacement-affected populations across Africa and Asia. As MSI’s Senior Director of Global Programmes and Philanthropy Anna Mackay shared, “We are heartened by the continuing support from the Canadian government which furthers our already strong partnership. With these funds, many more women and girls around the world will be reached with life-changing reproductive healthcare and information — countering an emboldened anti-choice opposition who are trying to deny people their reproductive rights.” Read more about our partnership, and this investment: https://lnkd.in/eFj7Em5r
and now the work starts to make our impact on the ground!
Extremely happy
Great session.
Congratulations MSI, well done Anna Mackay!
