As the year comes to a close, we reflect on our community of supporters and all you have done to help us care for sick, injured, and orphaned wild birds and turtles. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you!
To ensure we have the resources to provide the best possible care for all patients who come through our doors, please consider a gift to Avian Haven by December 31 (give online at https://lnkd.in/ey7PJKzf). By giving, you'll help provide vital clinical supplies, veterinary care, food, and much more (see the list below for some examples!).
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of Maine’s wild birds and turtles.
How You Can Help
$5 buys a large bottle of Dawn dish soap, which removes oil and sticky substances from our patients.
$20 feeds a Common Loon for four days.
$50 buys a 50-pound bag of high-quality bird seed.
$100 covers a vet visit for a turtle.
$350 allows us to test 48 birds for lead poisoning.
$500 purchases a camera for our microscope that will allow for better diagnostic abilities and teaching opportunities for staff.
