Hii all , I Just completed the comprehensive ETAP (Electrical Transient and Analysis Program) course! This rigorous training has deepened my understanding of power systems analysis, design, and optimization. I've gained hands-on experience with: 👉 Load flow and short circuit analysis 👉 Arc flash analysis 👉 Power system stability and transient analysis I'm excited to apply these skills to real-world challenges and contribute to innovative solutions in the electrical engineering field.

I’m excited to share that I’ve received 2nd in ENEL280 last semester! The course is a broad coverage of Electrical Systems and is a major component of the 2nd year Electrical Engineering syllabus. It includes, but is not limited to: - Single and three phase power circuits - DC and AC motors - Performance characteristics. - Associated phaser diagrams. The result is a reflection of continued efforts toward my studies and one in which I’m continually striving to better moving forward.

Partial discharge (PD) is the initial stage of a complete failure in some power systems’ components. If left without repair, PD in components like electrical machines, cables, and covered conductors can eventually lead to substantial power outages and damages. In a study presented at the 2022 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (CCECE), engineers from EPE investigated a solution for PD fault detection in Medium Voltage Covered Conductor Overhead lines (MVCCO). Visit EPE's website to read more about the study here: https://ow.ly/bIju50Q2OFB

Last day of electrical class. Make it work! During the week, students have gone over every connection, fuse, and LED. They know what every component does, where they are in the prints, and how they work together. I love the expressions on their faces when they first see the challenge and the OMG under their breath. That said, I've never had a student take longer than 30 minutes to get it back together. After they get it back together and realize a brake and encoder have been pulled, it's usually only 10 minutes, before they can run the robot to the Zero and Home positions. I love this game, it's the good kind of schadenfreude(-:
