I saw this post on my social network and found it literally embarrassing, that Nepotism, a practice once predominantly associated with public sectors, has now made its way into private sectors. This trend is increasingly evident as the emphasis on meritocracy takes a backseat. In private organisations, personal relationships often overshadow qualifications and experience. Despite having the necessary credentials and expertise, many professionals find themselves overlooked in favor of those with the right connections. It's becoming more common to see positions filled based on personal relationships rather than merit. In rare cases, appointments are made based on qualifications and experience. However, the prevailing trend is for senior officials to move from one organisation to another, bringing along their subordinates and acquaintances. This shift not only undermines the principles of fairness and meritocracy but also hampers the overall growth and efficiency of organisations. As nepotism becomes more ingrained, the potential for innovation and excellence diminishes, ultimately affecting the competitiveness of the organisations either private or public.

The ease, price, and accessibility of AI quickly outweighing the cost of hiring a human in the advertising space is such a big fear of mine. Need copy? Skip the email and the call with the copywriter and just copy-paste the directions straight into ChatGPT. In 10 seconds, you can get a whole paying day's worth of work for the cost of a $20 monthly subscription. Now that you have the script, do you need VO? Why book a booth, engineer, and voice artist and deal with all that SAGAFTRA paperwork? Just copy-paste the script into ElevenLabs, pick a voice, and hit generate. Remember, the growth of AI technology is exponential, so this is just the tip of the iceberg. Give it five years, and you can also skip the production crew, actors, extras, and post-production and create a custom shoot teaser with built-in VFX using Sora video generation. Then, go to Adobe and use their generative AI templates to create all your title cards and graphics. In ten years? Why even use an advertising agency? Just plug in your audience's user data directly into a Multi-modal AI and let it craft a 360 campaign for each demographic. In 12 years? They can narrow it down to each individual person. Then again, maybe I'm just being paranoid and consume too much sci-fi.

MTM-Logistics at Mazda Toyota Manufacturing
3moI do feel like it is very cool what all MTM does and they way they do it but I also feel it would be very beneficial to show employees all the facets of MTM…like tour us employees around the facility and show us other areas of the plant! I’d love to see other shops in process and as far as the environmental aspect…I’d absolutely find it exciting to see HOW MTM protects the community..just my thoughts! I’m a proud MTM team member…YOSH!
