The second stop of our #SpaceWeekIRL road trip with Astronaut Steve Swanson was Galway Atlantaquaria 🌊 We discussed the link between Earth's oceans and the ongoing search for extraterrestrial life, ahead of the launch of the Europa Clipper mission. This mission will search for subsurface oceans beneath the icy crust of Jupiter's moon Europa. It is believed our best chance of finding life outside our planet is in the ocean worlds of icy moons. 👽 Starfish Steve was named in honour of this visit, so if you are ever in Galway, definitely go check out the aquarium.
