👉🏿 Let’s Debate 🤝 #workinghours ✍️ Mr N. Murthy believes in 70 hours working a week for today’s young generation. Since I am an admirer of #visionaries (Working for some real Reforms in the society) over #ambitious people (Working for Success at any cost), I learnt from those Visionaries…… The formula of 8-8-8 hrs/day (8 hours of committed working, 8 hours of good sleep, 8 hours for all life care time, like Self care acts of 2-3 times eating, 2 times bathing, cleaning, physical & hygienic activities, reading/competency development activities, time for friends, families & rejuvenating act etc) which can be sustainable, creative, productive, healthy and happy. So in a week it should be 56-56-56 hours if not possible to allocate daily. Meaning 56 hrs working m, including travelling for professional purposes, so around 44-48 productive hours. Otherwise we may develop a sick / unhealthy nation going forward instead of healthy & happy Nation. I think, focus needs to be in creating more skilled young people to ensure job fitment, and more infrastructures so that everyone get opportunities to work & contribute in nation development. Such initiatives will be better approach rather asking limited young people to work more (70 hrs) & rest demographic dividends are busy in non-productive activities, like political rallies 😢. It’s an era of digital, technological, and automation of services, thus physically human intervention should be limited & human intelligence to be used in more creative & productive activities.
