Thank you to all Mulalley staff that brought in items for the Welcome Project - your donations were again very gratefully received. Mulalley staff donated boxes filled with much-needed items to the Welcome Project in Ilford. During another difficult year for many, generous staff collected enough warm clothing, toiletries and food to fill seven large boxes. Project Manager Sonia Lynch was so delighted with the amount (and quality) of items our staff had donated and thanked us for our annual generosity - this is the 13th consecutive year we have collected items for the Welcome Project. The Welcome Project provides many services to men and women who are homeless from its purpose built Day Centre in Ilford. https://lnkd.in/epbwaXqz The project provides information, advice and guidance on a range of issues associated with homelessness; practical support; support with entering the job market; a nurse led clinic; counselling; alternative therapies and a chiropody clinic. HELP HOMELESS STREET ANGELS GET BACK ON THE ROAD 🙏 For years, the Homeless Street Angels have been a lifeline for those experiencing homelessness, providing food, clothing, and support on the streets. Their ford transit van was not just a vehicle—it was hope on wheels, bringing comfort to those in desperate need. ❤️ But now, that hope is parked indefinitely. The van is out of commission, and the streets are colder without the Angels’ vital support. 💔 We Need Your Help 💔 If we can come together as a LinkedIn community, we can get the Angels back on the road where they belong. Whether it’s a donation, a connection to someone who can provide a van, or even spreading this message to your networks—every action matters. 🙏 Let’s show that the power of LinkedIn extends far beyond business, and into the heart of our communities. If you or your company has a ford transit van, or if you know of anyone who can help, please get in touch. Together, we can keep hope alive for those who need it most. #HomelessStreetAngels #CommunitySupport #LinkedInForGood #DonateNow #MakeADifference Shelley Joyce Becky Joyce

This Daan Utsav, let's come together to make a difference in the lives of those who need us most—the 100+ abandoned elderly at Gandhi Old Age Home. For these senior citizens, your kindness can mean everything. Many of them are bed-ridden, physically challenged, or simply left alone with no one to care for them. Your donations can help provide food, a safe shelter, and essential medical assistance to ensure they live with dignity in their twilight years. #Gandhioldagehome #DaanUtsav #provideshelter #oldagehome #oldage #oldagecare #abandonedseniors #support #contribution #senior #physicallychallenged #oldagehomes #oldagechallenge #oldageproblems #oldagepeople #love #oldagehomevisit #oldagestore #eldercare #seniorcare #care #old #support #elderlycare #health #elders #seniorliving #donate #needdonations

3 Reasons To Support Local Charities: 1. Direct Impact on the Community: Donations to local charities have an immediate and visible impact, benefiting your community by addressing needs like education, healthcare, housing, or food security. Supporting local causes helps build a stronger, more vibrant community where everyone can thrive. 2. Personal Connection and Accountability: When you donate locally, you're more likely to see the results of your contributions firsthand. You may have personal ties to the cause or know the people involved, which fosters greater trust, accountability, and transparency in how funds are used. 3. Boosting Local Economy and Civic Engagement: Donating to local charities often strengthens the local economy by creating jobs, funding local projects, and encouraging others to get involved. It also nurtures a sense of civic pride and responsibility, helping to build a culture of generosity and social responsibility close to home. #Appalachia #payitforward #givetoday www.supportappalachia.org

💙 ALONE & HOMELESS CHALLENGE – An Update & A Huge Thank You 💙 After carrying out the Alone & Homeless in London challenge a couple of weeks ago, I want to thank you all for so many generous donations. I’m thrilled to share that we have all raised £815 out of the £1000 target for this fundraiser. We’re so close! Every penny truly adds up to make a real difference in the lives of those who currently need it most. On Friday 8th November, I’ll be traveling through my hometown Maidstone, and then into the Medway towns to allocate the funds directly to those experiencing homelessness. My car will be packed with essentials such as food, sleeping bags, clothes, toileteries, sanitry products and anything else I can possibly think of (if anyone has any suggestions please comment below!) Additionally I’ll be helping people get haircuts, clean their clothes and also spend some time listening to their stories. These donations reach further than most of us realise... The cost of just a few drinks on a Friday or other luxuries like a monthly streaming subscription for example, could mean keeping someone warm throughout the night, preventing someone from going hungry or even just providing the chance to regain a bit of confidence through something as simple as a haircut. The ultimate goal of this fundraiser goes beyond providing immediate support. It’s about spreading the awareness and inspiring others to take up similar challenges, by stepping forward to raise money in ways where they know exactly where each pound goes, with a 0% chance of misapropriation of the funds they've worked so hard to raise. By doing this people can make a direct, visible impact in their own communities, building momentum like a snowball gaining size and speed as it rolls. Whether it’s seeing a warm meal reach someone in need or offering a small comfort to someone facing hardships. This approach gives every donor the confidence that their contributions are changing lives in real, tangible ways. Let’s make every bit of this effort count and show the power of community care as we reach the £1000.00 goal! Thank you once again for everyone involved! Let’s keep it going as together, we can make a lasting difference!🙏🏻 https://gofund.me/7a4c7bfd #ALONEANDHOMELESS #FUNDRAISER #HOMELESSAWARENESS #GIVEBACK

🌟 Volunteers of America-Texas | Continues to be one of the Mint Female Federal Bureau of Prisons programs nationwide. An initiative aimed at revolutionizing the reentry experience for women in federal custody. Here's why it's a game-changer: 1️⃣ Tailored Support: The Mint Program is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of women in federal custody. From trauma-informed care to gender-responsive programming, we're providing tailored support to help women thrive during and after incarceration. 2️⃣ Empowerment Through Education: Education is key to unlocking opportunities. That's why the Mint Program offers a wide range of educational opportunities, from GED classes to vocational training, empowering women to build brighter futures for themselves. 3️⃣ Comprehensive Reentry Services: Our program offers a comprehensive array of reentry services, including job placement assistance, housing support, and substance abuse treatment. By addressing the root causes of incarceration, we're helping women successfully reintegrate into society. 4️⃣ Community Engagement: We believe in the power of community. The Mint Program fosters connections between women in custody and community organizations, creating a support network that extends far beyond prison walls. 5️⃣ Promoting Rehabilitation and Reconciliation: At the heart of the Mint Program is a commitment to rehabilitation and reconciliation. By providing women with the tools and support they need to heal and grow, we're paving the way for brighter futures and stronger communities. 🌱 Women in prison are often the primary or sole caregivers of children prior to incarceration. For offenders who will give birth during their incarceration, there are two programs offered to assist these mothers before, during, and after childbirth; these include Mothers and Infants Together (MINT) and the Residential Parenting Program (RPP). The MINT Program is a community residential program that aims to assist offenders during pregnancy.
Big thanks to Pastors Matt and Melissa Forgey and the The Table Community Church for an incredible Mother’s Day for moms in our Mothers and Infants Nurturing Together (MINT) Program! MINT allows expectant women who are incarcerated the opportunity to prepare for birth and parenthood as they complete their jail sentences. Your donations of diapers, wipes, clothes, food, and devotionals mean so much. To help change the life of a baby in our MINT program, donate here > https://bit.ly/3UVB7bt

What’s missing at Bridging? BLANKETS, especially the bed sized for twin, full, and queen beds. As client appointment levels rise, so does our need to adequately stock the shelves for shopping. We need 300 bed sized blankets available every week, for a total of 15,000 donated each year! When we say “blanket”, we mean comforters, bed spreads, and blankets. They cover a mattress completely, provide warmth, and support a good night’s sleep! Gently used and new donations are accepted. How can you help during the September Blanket Blitz? Continue to donate from your own home. Tell others in your network and neighborhood that we are in desperate need. Coordinate a blanket collection at work, school, or in your faith community. See Joel or Danyelle about hosting a blanket drive. Reminder: Yes, we accept throw sized blankets! But, we have a healthy supply of those and isn’t our greatest need.

The communities of Bangalore, Bellary, Manvi, Chamarajanagar, and Wayanad have a common problem: limited inadequate housing and sanitation facilities. In response to the critical need for safe housing, members of Chalice family circles at the Bangalore site in India have nominated 15 families of sponsored children who will get a new home and toilet. Through careful consideration, they prioritized women-headed households and households with girls. Fourteen of the identified families are women-headed. A generous donor will match your donations to this project. Double your impact and spread even more love and support to those in need: https://ow.ly/LP2Z50U0Cun

Having assisted Scott and the board with their strategic planning process, I know these resources will be used effectively
We extend a huge thank you to Assistance League of Atlanta, which has recently partnered with 3Keys to donate essential items for our residents. This partnership means that our residents—many of whom arrive with little to nothing more than the clothes they are wearing—will receive welcome kits with new bedding, shower shoes, pots and pans, laundry pods, towels, and much more. Assistance League of Atlanta is also assisting with our activities program by donating supplies that enable us to continue offering meaningful activities for our residents. Partnerships like this are critical in helping us support our residents as they transition from homelessness to stability. #endhomelessness #nonprofitpartnerships
