In my life and in my career I have been blessed with amazing family, friends, mentors, colleagues and partners. I have always believed if you work hard, be a good person and try to help others succeed in life the world will take care of you. This week has really cemented this belief with me, I have had the pleasure to travel to Toronto to meet with a vendor who wants to partner with us at 101 Doors and Windows going forward. Get Beyond Like so many, I joined for a greater cause, a bigger picture, sense of purpose and to build something special. I never imagined though, that “special” would have been an understatement. To the many people that were bound together, that trusted the process and truly valued each other, that’s more than special. Unheard of really. To a recruiter I got to work with, you know who you are, thanking you doesn’t do words justice. You are a phenomenal asset and a better human. To my direct leader: I have had a handful of managers, very few leaders and I can’t thank you enough for the daily motivation, inspiration and encouragement. To Enablement: if there was a question, we all knew you were there to support and assist. Many people often say “they’d be lucky to have you”…. Meh… Honored is more like it.
