I recently read about an investor who attended a general partner's AGM wearing a T-shirt that said: "DPI is the new IRR". It's clearly a humorous take 😉 but one that effectively underlines how liquidity constraints are at the forefront of investors' minds these days. For Funds Society, I explored the reasons behind the growing impatience of LPs. In short, it's a mix of technical factors forcing a strategic rebalancing of their asset allocation and an equally pressing interest in new exposure to private equity...
