Here’s a look at the incredible work completed: 🔧 Signalling upgrade – A two-year project in Crewe ushering in a new digital era for train signalling and enhancing a key freight depot. ⚡ Electrification milestone – Overhead lines between Wigan & Bolton powered up for the first time, paving the way for greener travel. 🛠️ Track upgrades – Improvements through a narrow Victorian tunnel on the West Coast Main Line near Berkhamsted. 🌉 Utility relocation – A temporary scaffold bridge in Stockport created to divert utilities ahead of Greek Street roundabout replacement. 🚦 Overhead line enhancements – Upgrades in Central Manchester & the West Coast Main Line. 🚂 Track improvements – Better track quality at Birmingham New Street & drainage upgrades near Milton Keynes.
