Excited to announce the Referable competition to win a trip for 2 to Queenstown, New Zealand in the coming weeks. 🇳🇿⛷️🍷 Findings from #atc2023 🚀 as an actual live launch event: 😮 Referable was received with a lot of “wow” comments. 👎 Most companies said their employee referral program was pretty bad. 🖥️ Most blamed “systems” as the main issue (ATS are designed for applicants, not prospects). 🤝 Most cited problems with “engagement” as another barrier to success. 🌝 Actual “collaboration” felt like a moon shot to many (because they lack the tools!). 💳 One global credit card company had “above average” referral hiring at 58% (over avg. 40%). 🔍 Only a few people came up saying they were looking for “proactive” solutions (and they understood us immediately!!). ⏳ While most enterprise recruiters have the challenges we solve, we expect the sales cycle to be long… ❤️ We loved talking to other vendors as they have lived through everything we are now living (so inspiring!). ✈️ A trip to Queenstown is a surefire way to get people to visit your booth (what do we do next year?!). 🧞♂️ The AI Genie is out of the bottle, we recruiters need to try new things and see what works (or fall far behind). 📈 This has an impact on personal careers as much as organizations!! 💡RPO/Advisory SP’s also understood the potential of proactive sourcing.
