GrindingHub, the international trade fair for #grindingtechnology, was opened today in Stuttgart for the second time. As per Dr Markus Heering, Executive Director, VDW (German Machine Tool Builders' Association), the organizer of the event, GrindingHub has already established itself as the undisputed meeting place for the #grindingtechnology community. #Grindingtechnology is a small but thriving sector which represents one of the most important #metalworking processes. “It is so gratifying to be able to bring together all the #internationalmarket leaders and put together such an attractive show for #tradevisitors,” continues Heering. The GrindingHub in figures: around #490exhibitors from over #30countries, more than half from abroad, roughly #41500gross sq mt in #fourhalls—up from the previous three. The range of products has also been expanded and now covers more than #40product sectors. There is therefore growth in all the key figures. “And this means that we are meeting in full our aim of showcasing the entire #grindingprocesschain,” explains Heering. With 67,420 trade visitors, a new visitor record was set on the LogiMAT 2024, which was also noticeable at the beck stand with a large number of visitors. The trade visitors from the "Logistics & E-Commerce" sector welcomed our open stand concept - in keeping with our open, clear machine design. 🚀 Everyone could see and feel the good atmosphere and hospitality at the beck stand. Special praise therefore goes to the entire beck trade fair team. Our trade fair visitors received competent and motivated advice on their packaging and logistics questions on all days of the fair. Because investments in smart packaging and optimized packaging processes pave the way for the future. ✅ Our new paper machines were met with great interest. The new compact and user-friendly design benefits both people and the environment. The innovation of automatically re-sized paper bags to products opens up completely new possibilities. Sustainable film packaging with PCR film also remains an important topic. Information was also provided on the Wildplastic film concept. Trade fairs kick-off 2024: OKW Gehäusesysteme at all about automation in Hamburg. We started the new year with a trade fair appearance in Hamburg: with proven standards and new products from the enclosure and tuning knob sectors, we were represented at all about automation on 17 and 18 January, where everything revolved around industrial automation. Around 2,000 visitors were able to obtain comprehensive information and advice on a wide range of automation topics - including from us. We presented high-quality products for a wide range of applications, which were well received by the interested trade visitors. "Especially now, when digitalisation is developing so rapidly in a wide variety of industries and business areas, electronics developers need all the more support in choosing the right enclosure.
