🫵 Just curious - what would YOU do, as a small architectural practice? 💬 Our project pipeline is full (see my previous post below) 📈, yet we’re still being asked to take on more work 🙄 We’ve clarified that we can only start in February 2025, but prospective clients are pushing for January or even sooner ⏳. We would love a new challenge, sure! But as a small practice we are serious about our commitment to quality work. Here’s the reality: 👉 Insisting on February might mean losing their interest come Jan 🚪. They lose steam (and appoint that friend's cousin who knows AutoCAD 🤦♂️) 👉Bringing in external consultants could allow us to deliver now 👷♂️🤝 👉Refusing the project ensures we stay focused on quality and capacity 🎯. These are decisions every growing practice faces. For us, the priority is maintaining standards while managing growth.
