The Future Of Photography in 2024 - What If I Use A Film Camera? Well, if you use a film camera, you carry on, don't you? Happy in your analogue world. Film photography for me is the antidote to computational photography, to tech photography, to AI photography. It keeps things real and natural. And I see an increasing demand for this as the tech progresses. Not everybody wants technology to dominate their photography. #photography #photographyexplained #photographyexplainedpodcast #rickmcevoy #photographypodcast https://lnkd.in/ePYHfkZ6

As someone who ran track (much, MUCH slower) this is really cool to see. I remember some electronic vs hand timing shenanigans (a formula to basically adapt electric to hand? I can't remember, but it was an official thing at the time) that would make knowing how fast you ran pretty confusing. My high school 100m time was 11.22- effectively an entire year too slow to even entertain delusions of going to the Olympics. These guys are running almost 1.5 seconds faster than I ever did. The strangest part? They're only ever accelerating the first 60-70 meters. After that point, it's a contest to see who slows down the least. So, a full race went something like this... Sprinters ready? Take your marks! Everyone gets into the blocks in their own way. It's usually methodical, a ritual, it helps prepare them mentally. Set! The sprinters rise from their knee, hips higher than their shoulders, arms roughly perpendicular to the ground. Then you have to hold that. No one can be moving. For the conference I ran in, it was legal to hold the sprinters in set for up to 6 seconds. Time that. Just count it, One alligator.... two alligator... It's a LONG time to be in the blocks, frozen, mentally prepared for the gun. Some people may close their eyes. Some may hold their breath. BANG! goes the starting pistol. If you're watching from the stands, you'll see the smoke before you hear the noise. But every sprinter in the race was looking down. They react, driving out of the blocks and begin to accelerate. Next they fight to maintain their speed. Then they cross the finish with a lean, their torso is what determines when they cross. And it's over. Less than 1/4 of a minute later, the race is done. I had much more competitive 400m times, but now and then when I see something like this video and I miss running the 100m. I miss the technical exercise of block starts. I miss the feeling of accelerating. I miss fighting to maintain speed while not breaking form. I used to run fairly fast and I miss that because running that fast is fun. Thank you for coming to my Timm Talk.

The history of photography is closely tied to the contributions of various artists and inventors who pushed the medium forward. Before the widespread use of color photography, early photographers experimented with specialized techniques to capture color images, even in the 1800s. The introduction of Kodak's "Kodachrome" film in the 1930s made color photography more accessible to the public, shifting away from the earlier monochromatic images. Photography's development has been driven by innovative individuals who played pivotal roles in shaping it into a modern art form. These key figures made significant discoveries and advancements that continue to influence photography today #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers #snsdesignthinking

Photography photography is a beauty of life ,Photography is the art, application, and practice of creating images by recording light, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. It is employed in many fields of science, manufacturing and business, as well as its more direct uses for art, film and video production, recreational purposes, hobby, and mass communication... Life is all about little moments, enjoy those Little moments and capture it.Photography helps you capture anything you feel is important to remember. One photograph is powerful enough to not only remind you of an event or detail, but can bring you right back to the feelings, sounds, and even smells of the moment.Ready to pose enjoy the picture .. #snscollegeofphysiotherapy #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers
