This week, MVF's Chief People Officer Hugh W. and Senior People Partner Alice Sears attended the UNLEASH World HR conference in Paris. There were some amazing speeches including one from the futurist, Amy Webb, who gave us a glimpse of what's next for tech and HR. Some fascinating stuff on Organoid Intelligence! Besides the talks, there were some incredible up and coming HR technologies showcasing their products, many of whom MVF have as clients already. Yesterday, our London office came together for our MVF Bake Off Auction as part of our ongoing Black History Month celebrations. Thank you to all the teams and individuals that bid for our MVF bakes, we raised an amazing £430 in support of Generating Genius! Generating Genius is a fantastic charity that works to transform the lives of underrepresented students by helping them pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Their programs offer mentoring, resources, and opportunities to ensure the next generation of diverse leaders in STEM fields can thrive and succeed. A huge thank you to everyone who baked, bid, and shared their winnings around the office! 🍰 Special shout out to our star baker ⭐️ Christopher Hambling ⭐️ who won with his Cinnamon Roll Focaccia

Just back from a truly marvellous time out in Australia and New Zealand with Ignacio Carrizo and Josh Sutton. By my count - 9 meetings in 5 cities & 2 countries in the space of a week and a half, a very busy but totally fulfilling time visiting MVF's wonderful ANZ partners. This region is highly important to our business, and will always be close to my heart too - I can't wait to get back out there again soon! Now... what day is it again? 😅

Just back from another great International Shoot in Austin, Texas 🎥 with Corey McKeegan and Christopher Hambling We shot over 5 locations for 10 different products and ended up with 1000+ assets 🤯. Always such a great way to generate new ideas and capture localised footage to support our US office. Little showreel courtesy of Chris to give a snippet of what we got up to! We also onboarded our awesome first US based team member Bailey Whelton!! Really excited for the next chapter!

More good news to share. Y'all about to be sick of me! :) Our team launched our eighth B2B industry newsletter this week called The Level, a weekly newsletter built for construction leaders. (www.thelevel.co) We have learned so many lessons from the first launch to this most recent. (See last post for details.) What did we do that's making an immediate impact? - We have a winning ad on Meta and TikTok that has given us a headstart on subscribers before we launched (well over a thousand!) - We have an industry expert curating the news from the jump. - Our design team was meticulous in their creatives. - We got to know our audience well in advance of launch, and know exactly who we want to read the newsletter and what we will deliver to them that is different. - We have spots for sponsors and advertisers (if you're looking for a niche audience, let's chat.) My coworker Katie Parsons is the editor on this one and I can't wait to see how she helps this brand to level up!
