#homebuyingtips #homesellingtips #impactinvestors #propertymanagers It's all with best intentions. If it works 98% better than normal. It's still not perfect. Even the best built green certified homes have "un-intended" consequences. There was a #PHIUS house that had frost on the underside of the roof sheeting above the soffit past the exterior envelope. The spray foam didn't get into the engineered joists tiny seams, nooks and crannies and it leaked little streams of air forming circles of ice. It was un-intended and an easy fix. The most common un-intended circumstance that I have witnessed in any kind of house, certified or not, is the increased savings on energy and more reduction of carbon than originally anticipated. The sustainability scale can measure the potential of your house, certified or not. Even though, it's not perfect and has it's own "un-intended" circumstances. Use a sustainability scale at gapscore.com Verify it yourself. Without knowledge from experienced others, everything is susceptible to the "un-intended" and not in a "good way".

Many expressed the need for OAQDA to do more in traditionally underserved communities throughout our state and help alleviate the economic barriers that businesses and Ohioans face in transitioning to clean air technology. We engaged a research firm, Sustainable Capital Advisors (SCA), to conduct a market needs assessment and provide recommendations. As we kick off 2024, OAQDA anticipates expanding our program offerings with additional financial products and new initiatives to support targeted sectors.
