New data from Gallup reveals a rising issue: Workplace loneliness is on the rise - 20% of employees feel lonely daily, with remote workers feeling it even more at 25% compared to 16% in the office. 😔 This loneliness is impacting well-being, engagement, and performance. Bringing everyone back to the office won’t solve the root cause. Instead, employers should focus on boosting engagement by connecting teams to their work, the company mission, and each other. Empower managers to champion culture and help bridge the gap. #Workplaceloneliness #Employeeengagement #Remotework #Teamculture #pshumanresources #pshr #ipswich #suffolk #eastanglia #humanresources #hr #employeeengagement #talentmanagement #workplaceculture #hrm #recruitment #hrstrategy #hrconsulting #leadershipdevelopment #employeerelations #hrbestpractices #peoplemanagement #employeewellness #hrtips #hranalytics #hrprofessional #hrleadership #hrcommunity #hrinsights #hrnews

#CorporateWorld #HR Work culture should be such that employees are not forced to come to the office; they should choose to come based on their own preferences. Tracking employees is toxic, and constantly reminding them that they are being monitored, especially when they've already completed their work, creates a negative environment. Organizations that require employees to stay just because of a rigid 9-to-6 work schedule, even after their tasks are finished, will struggle to attract and retain good talent. This kind of work culture will ultimately lead to dissatisfaction, lower motivation, and high employee turnover. #EmployeeWellbeingandMentalHealth #AttractingandRetainingTalent #ProductivityandEngagement #RemoteandHybridWorkTrends #DiversityEquityandInclusion(DEI) #InnovationandCreativity #WorkLifeBalance #TechnologicalAdvancements

The Human Element in Human Resources In today’s rapidly changing workplace, the role of Human Resources (HR) transcends beyond administrative functions and compliance. At its core, HR is about people—nurturing talent, fostering a positive culture, and enhancing employee well-being. The essence of HR lies in its commitment to humanity. By prioritizing empathy and understanding in our interactions, HR professionals can create an environment where individuals feel valued and heard. This human-centric approach not only improves employee engagement but also drives organizational success. As we navigate challenges such as remote work, diversity and inclusion, and mental health awareness, the need for a compassionate HR strategy becomes even more critical. By investing in the development of our teams and supporting their personal and professional growth, we cultivate a thriving workplace that inspires innovation and loyalty. Let’s remember that behind every statistic and policy, there are real individuals with aspirations, challenges, and stories. As HR practitioners, we hold the power to champion these human experiences, making our organizations not just places of work, but communities that empower every employee to thrive. #EmpathyInTheWorkplace #EmployeeEngagement #WorkplaceCulture #employeewellbeing

Navigating Workforce Flexibility As seen in Hunt Scanlon Media's recently released 'HR/Diversity Executive Recruiting Special Issue’ newsletter, one of the most pressing challenges facing HR executives today is navigating the shifting landscape of hybrid and remote work. According to Amanda Rassi, director – human resources search at StevenDouglas, "Many organizations are still struggling to find a balance between flexibility and productivity while maintaining a cohesive company culture. As HR leaders, we are tasked with ensuring that employees remain engaged, connected, and supported, even when working from disparate locations. The evolving expectations around work-life balance, mental health, and employee well-being have also added complexity to this equation.” Read more >> https://lnkd.in/eck_TgF #HR #talent #culture
