🎄 Ready to fill up those Christmas party bookings? 🎄 Starting to fret over the number of Christmas bookings you've got in? Here’s something you might want to try: Run a Christmas Party Countdown Campaign to create urgency and drive reservations. 🔔 Why it works: By highlighting the number of available party slots, you tap into that “fear of missing out” factor. Customers feel the pressure to book before spaces run out! 🎯 Pro Tip: Use daily or weekly posts across your socials + a weekly email to show how many spaces are left. You can also offer flash deals for any remaining spots in December - think free welcome drinks or an extra course. 💡 Looking to boost your festive sales? Drop Ben Walton a message, or email ben@onaplategrowth.com and let’s chat about how we can help you pack out your venue this Christmas.

The key to enjoying and celebrating the Festive season is to focus on simple acts of kindness. No family is the same, and Christmas does not have to be one specific, traditional way. Ask about different festive cultural traditions in your family and blend these diverse elements. For example - share some recipes, listen to different holiday music, or adopt customs. These small acts of kindness - not just giving gifts - but sharing, and appreciating one another will bring everyone closer together. Create an open space for conversation and understanding - acknowledge changes that have happened in the family, and ask others how they feel about it. Celebrate the uniqueness of your family and create new traditions, together. 🎄 Is Your Team Ready for the Festive Season 🎄 Christmas Parties are a highlight of the year, but for HR leaders, they can also raise questions: - Do your managers know how to handle potential issues? - Are your employees aware of their rights and responsibilities? - Are you meeting your obligations under the Worker Protection Act? As Lee Chambers puts it "don't facilitate any nightmares before Christmas" 👉 Send me a message if you need support: - Reviewing your policies and obligations under the Worker Protection Act - Updating your risk register to proactively manage the risk of sexual harassment. - Training and equipping your managers with the skills to handle harassment complaints and employee disputes effectively and in line with legal requirements.

It's time to mention the C-Word...🎄🥂🎉🎅🏽 With the Summer wedding season, Halloween parties and fireworks celebrations behind us, it must be time for Christmas! This week I wished my first happy Christmas of the season! 😊 Horrifying maybe but they're about to migrate south for the winter so I think I can be forgiven! Christmas has always been a favourite time of year for me; an opportunity to spend time with friends and family, spread a little cheer, celebrate the year gone by and take a pause and prepare for the New Year ahead. It is hard to not be carried away by the bombardment of festive cheer and perhaps an excuse to behave a bit lavishly, indulge ourselves and be a little more frivolous. How are you celebrating this festive season? Have you planned your Christmas Party? Booked a venue? Invited guests? It’s only six weeks until Christmas Eve and calendars are filling up, decorations hung and dancing shoes polished. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and party planning is not your forte then I can help. From finding a venue, managing the guest list, booking entertainment, planning the menu, decorations, transport, accommodation and everything in between. Think of me as your Christmas magician but without the tricks! #christmasparties #christmasevents #festive #corporateparties #officeparties #newyearseve #partyplanner #eventcoordinator #eventmanagement #eventplanning
