I received a message from the Head of DevOps at a $5B ARR company seeking help managing over 50 Kubernetes clusters. I've noticed a recurring issue recently: DevOps teams no longer want to handle Kubernetes upgrades 🙅🏼♂️. This is where Qovery steps in! With Qovery, you can delegate all day 2 operations for your clusters and manage them at scale. If you're facing a similar challenge, visit www.qovery.com.

Picture this: me, sitting in my pajamas at 3 AM, surrounded by empty coffee cups and a mountain of code. Yeah, that's pretty much been my life lately. From stumbling over bash scripts like a newborn giraffe to orchestrating CI/CD pipelines like a seasoned pro, DevOps has been one heck of a trip. It's like trying to herd cats in a thunderstorm—chaotic, unpredictable, and strangely exhilarating. But you know what? Despite the sleepless nights and the occasional existential crisis, there's something oddly satisfying about it all. It's like solving a puzzle with a million pieces, each one more confusing than the last. And yet, when you finally get it right, it's like winning the lottery—minus the cash prize, of course. So here's to embracing the chaos, embracing the weirdness, and diving headfirst into the DevOps rabbit hole. Who knows where it'll take us next?

Hello friends, Today i have just started my DevOps/SRE journey! The beginning may seem challenging, but I am eager for the exciting road ahead. Recently, I completed my first session with HeyDevops and Praveen Singampalli, where I explored the fundamental principles of DevOps and examined the various tools used in CI/CD. The content was enriching, and the delivery was top-notch. I look forward to incorporating these tools into my skill set as the course unfolds. #heydevops #continuousintergation #continuousdelivery

The art of DevOps is continual improvement — comparison is the thief of joy. The goal with any metric is to improve your teams performance over time. Not to compete with other teams, be it internally or externally. Just a small snippet of conversation I had with Nathen Harvey for #DevOpsDiaries recently. Can't wait to get this episode out in the world to y'all! 👀🤩🙌

🚀 Experienced DevOps Engineer | Architecting & Optimizing Cloud Infrastructures | CI/CD, Containerization & Automation Expert 🛠️ | Open for Collaboration & Networking 🌍
The only way a DevOps should be dedicating their time, I believe the crux of being a DevOps lies in designing and implementing efficient, automated and reliable infrastructures.
As a DevOps engineer, you should target to spend only 40% of your time on operational work, ie, setting up servers, fixing deployment pipelines, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, on-call, etc. 60% of your time should go into building projects, automating away the toil, setting up observability - one-time effort tasks that yield continuous benefits in the long term. This is the only way to evolve and make sure you're not stuck in the same hole you were a year ago. How are you spending your time? (I share a lot more insights on DevOps in my community.
