Making Travel Accessible: Empowering Disabled Individuals to Enjoy Seamless Holidays ! I am as committed to fostering inclusivity and accessibility as I am to creating amazing holidays. Travel should be an enriching experience for everyone, and I am passionate about making this a reality by removing barriers and creating seamless, enjoyable vacations for people of all abilities. It can be daunting travelling as a disabled person- so many places do not stop to think about how hard it can be to get around. Travelling with my mother has been eye opening in this regard- a set of stairs which may seem simple to an abled body person, can stop others in their tracks and ruin their holiday. Through meticulous planning, tailored itineraries, and partnerships with disability-friendly accommodations and services, I can craft vacations that cater to unique needs. Whether it's ensuring wheelchair accessibility, providing sensory-friendly options, or offering comprehensive support throughout the journey, I am committed to making travel a stress-free and memorable experience for all. I would love to empower individuals with disabilities to explore the world with confidence and ease. Everyone deserves the opportunity to cherish enriching travel experiences, and I am dedicated to making this a reality. Reach out to learn more about how I can help make your next holiday an inclusive and delightful adventure for everyone. Together, let's make travel truly accessible to all! ♿✈️🌍 #AccessibleTravel #InclusiveTourism #Empowerment #TravelWithoutBarriers #InclusivityMatters #PersonalTravelConsultant #NotJustTravel #Travel #TravelAgent

Last year, the ICOMOS ICTC worked with the UNWTO (now UN Tourism) and the Spanish ONCE Foundation to develop the guideline component "How to apply ISO Standard 21902 Accessible tourism for all: recommendations for key players in the cultural tourism ecosystem." The awareness-raising work will sensitize institutions, governments and service providers o the importance of accessibility for all and inclusion. It will make clear that this is not only a question of human rights and equal opportunities, but also a major competitive advantage for destinations and the private sector. One of the key challenges internationally is how to convey people to destinations in a safe, welcoming manner that accommodates different types of disabilities, as this McKinsey & Company article outlines. https://lnkd.in/e9zzz2vv #airlines #airtravel #accessibletourism #disabilityinclusion #travelandtourism Zoritsa Urosevic Igor Stefanovic Miguel Carrasco Hernández Ana Marín Isabel Novoa Arantxa Hernández Colorado Ted Manning Adriana Julia Pankaj Manchanda William Raillant-Clark Jon Howell ✈ Mark Hill René Armas Maes Enzo Zangrilli (Chartered FCIPS) Rhiannon Parker Mary Beshai Wayne Smith Sonya Jakubec Gaia Jungeblodt Ivan Anthony Henares, PhD
