At MyGov, we’re always working to improve the experience for our users. With the latest updates, collaborators can now manage inspections, licenses, and projects more efficiently. Here’s a quick look at what’s new: 1. My Inspections & My Inspection Appointments Updates We’ve made some changes to the Collaborators dashboard widget! - My Inspections now shows Collaborators their pending, hold, delay, blocked, or scheduled inspections for permits and license applications. - My Inspection Appointments lets both Users and Collaborators view inspections that are due today, past due, or due this week. Plus, you can now see the due date and who the inspector is for past due appointments. This update includes recurring and ad hoc inspections, too. 2. Anytime File Uploads A highly requested feature! Collaborators can now upload documents at any point in the application process as long as the User has enabled the “Anytime” option in Module Admin requirements —just make sure the request step is completed and the project isn’t archived. This applies to permits and business licenses and keeps your workflow smooth and organized. 3. Retained Sorting Sorting is now smarter! You can sort columns across all MyGov modules, and the sort order will stay in place until you clear your browser history. No need to keep re-sorting every time you log in. Introducing 3 New MyGov Features We’re excited to announce three new features that have been added to MyGov, enhancing functionality and user experience. Here’s what’s new: 1. Enhanced Import Tool Our Locations import tool has been updated to include the ability to add coordinates when importing locations. This means that now you can include coordinates of a location in “Longitude” and “Latitude” to be a part of a location record. Here’s how to use it: Go to Site Settings. Navigate to the Imports Listing. You’ll find a new option for importing locations. Click on the location import option to access the import template and detailed instructions, which now includes coordinates. With this update, you can import coordinates seamlessly, in addition to other data. 2. Improved Page Layouts We’ve reorganized the layout for creating new pages in the Permits, Code Enforcement, and Business License modules. Here are the specifics: Permits: When creating a project and selecting a project template, important information such as applications, credentials, and occupancy details now appear at the top of the page, just above the project description so that you can now collect these specific fields before moving on to requirements needed from the applicant. Code Enforcement: When creating a case, credentials are now displayed above the case description if they are required. Business Licenses: Applicant credentials and NAICS codes have been moved to the top of the page for easier access. This reordering makes it more convenient for users and applicants to enter critical information first, enhancing the workflow efficiency. 3. Conflict Warning for Inspections To prevent scheduling conflicts, we’ve added a warning feature for blocking inspections on existing events across the Permits, Code Enforcement, and Business License modules.
