Throwback Thursday: A pancake pickup or batter buggy? Take a look at the original International House of Pancakes logo on the side of the truck. Introduced in 1958, the design included a brown wooden structure with a street-light on top. Classic photos and memorabilia line the hallways of the Sunshine Restaurant Partners main office. For me, FF&E is about creating a story. Mixing old and new. Connecting seemingly disparate pieces to shape something new. Making guests feel like they're somewhere they've never been before. Inspiring and exciting them! As a property's largest asset, it should also be the hardest working. #hospitality #hospitalitydesign #ffe #furniture #interiordesign

I create compelling visuals for Designers and Real Estate Developers || Founder & Creative Director of Redraw Studio
Quick question - What are your favourite type of Archviz projects to work on? For me, it is not residential, commercial, etc, it's a project where the client gives me complete (or almost complete) creative freedom. 🎨 This shot is part of a series of visuals I did for a restaurant project which also included an exclusive rooftop dining area. 🍽️ I designed the seating layout, chose the color palette and furniture pieces, and finally rendered the whole thing into this beautiful shot you see. A lot of work and a whole lot of fun. 😊 I had very little time to work on this project but it is one of my favorites.👌 #architecturalvisualization #lumion #madewithlumion #sketchup #archviz #interiordesign #interiorrendering #restaurantdesign

Of every 10 word clocks sold, just 2 are perfectly placed. The other 8? Here's what they do: 👉🏻Place it too high on the wall (makes it hard to read). 👉🏻Blend it with busy decor (distracts from its elegance). 👉🏻Position it away from the main work area (reduces its impact). And so, they’re one of those who buy the Word Clock excitedly, but end up making its use zero. If you don’t want to belong to that group, here’s what you should do: 👉🏻Place it slightly below eye level near an entryway or hallway.(Result: A welcoming feature that catches attention immediately.) 👉🏻Pair it with simple, modern decor on a textured wall. (Result: Creates contrast, making the clock pop beautifully.) 👉🏻Place it in your dining area, opposite the main table. (Result: It becomes a conversation starter during meals and gatherings). So, just remember: The greatest benefit you will get from your Wordclock is by styling it correct way.

Rugs are the ultimate way to draw an interior design scheme together, but go too small and the rug will look lost and your scheme will fall flat. Ideally, a rug should be big enough that some or all of your furniture’s feet can sit on it. In a dining area, you should be able to sit at the dining table with all four of your chair’s feet on the rug. Consider using your rugs in different ways, too – whether it's a few rugs overlapping each other or even hung in place of wall hangings.
