HIRING : Medical Virtual Assistants

An unexpected 32% of hybrid workers state they would consider a pay cut to work remotely full-time, according to a Forbes Advisor survey. With the rising number of in-person staff transitioning to remote work, how can we better manage our teams virtually? Here are 5 best practices for remote HR management that I've learned through over a decade of experience in HR: 1️⃣ PRIORITIZE EMPLOYEE WELL-BEING Remote work has its unique challenges on your team because of the potential for blurred lines between work and personal life. These challenges could take a toll on their mental health and can then lead to burnout. - Do regular check-ins - Provide readily available resources for managing digital stress - Encourage breaks - And promote work-life balance. It will empower your team to thrive, both professionally and personally. 2️⃣ MASTER ASYNCHRONOUS COMMUNICATION Use project management platforms and video conferencing solutions. For us at Phoenix Virtual Solutions, Google Meet and Ring Central are our tools of choice. Through this approach, we make sure everyone's voice is heard, regardless of their personal schedules! 3️⃣ FOCUS ON OUTCOMES OVER WORKED HOURS Manage your team’s performance through data analytics. - It helps us identify strengths - Address gaps - And personalize development plans for each employee to optimize their performance and reveal their full potential. For my team at PVS, we use Time Doctor. Some may disagree with me, but it has increased not only our team's PRODUCTIVITY level but also provided ACCOUNTABILITY. 4️⃣ BUILD A CULTURE OF CONNECTION Physical distance doesn't have to equate to emotional disconnect. We at PVS actively promote a culture of connection through: - Team-building activities - Celebrating milestones together (both through scheduled in-person and remotely) - And recognize achievements across borders. This dedication to building trust and a sense of belonging strengthens our team spirit and fuels success. 5️⃣ A HIGHER LEVEL OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION (DEI) It means providing fair hiring and benefits across locations, building an inclusive online space through mindful communication, and actively combating bias in remote tools and interactions. To create a thriving, competitive organization, you must adopt remote talents, cultivate a sense of belonging, and prioritize accessibility. Try it with your remote team and let me know how it goes. #RemoteHR #BPO #Leadership #EmployeeWellbeing #PerformanceManagement
