🏙️ 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩: 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙨 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 🌁 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘰’𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘴𝘬𝘺𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘤𝘦? Continuing my journey through Chicago’s incredible infrastructure, I had to highlight the Willis Tower—a world famous building that defines the city’s skyline. As one of the tallest buildings in the Western Hemisphere, it combines innovative engineering with striking design. Many people recognize it for its height and its Skydeck, but the Willis Tower also demonstrates the advanced structural engineering that makes it resilient against high winds and even seismic activity. It’s not only a skyscraper but a symbol of Chicago’s architectural history. 💡𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄? When completed in 1973, Willis Tower (originally known as the Sears Tower) held the title of the tallest building in the world for over 25 years. Today, it remains a globally recognized landmark, with its glass Skydeck extending 4.3 feet outside the 103rd floor, giving visitors a thrilling (or terrifying) view of the city from above. With so many impressive buildings in Chicago, I’m curious: What’s your favorite landmark where you live? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to hear and discuss! In a bustling city nestled between towering skyscrapers and historic landmarks, there stood a forgotten building, weathered by time yet filled with stories waiting to be told. Its grand façade, adorned with intricate carvings and stained glass windows, whispered tales of a bygone era when artisans meticulously crafted each detail by hand. Inside, the air was thick with the scent of aged wood and memories long past. The corridors echoed with the footsteps of architects and visionaries who once roamed its halls, their dreams etched into the very foundation of the building. Each room held secrets, from hidden passages to forgotten blueprints tucked away in dusty drawers. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the city streets, the building seemed to come alive with a newfound energy. Lights flickered to life, illuminating the intricate architecture in a soft glow. From the outside, it appeared as a beacon of creativity, drawing in those who sought inspiration and solace within its walls. Despite the passage of time and the ever-changing landscape of the city, the building remained a steadfast symbol of innovation and imagination. Its story, like the countless architects who had passed through its doors, would continue to inspire generations to come, a testament to the enduring power of architecture to shape the world around us. #Skyscrapers #landmarks #buildings #craft #architects #energy #sustainability #facade #walls #imaginations #landscape #creativity #storytelling

The Kent Stainless ‘Kilkenny’ shelter is so named as our first client for it was Kilkenny Leader Partnership. The shelters can now incorporate #RTPI Screens from Daktronics and Help Points from Gaitronics. We have now delivered 6 of these #shelters to various rural towns in Kilkenny. These are sued when the traffic throughput is not high enough to allow for advertising subsidized shelters. They arrive on site fully assembled and drop in place in one lift. The standard glass side panel here is 1050mm – but for urban areas that require a narrower footprint, this can have a 630mm width. In this case, the RTPI can be moved inside the shelter to the rear of the back panel.
