Check out what Electrical Contractor Magazine had to say about how L.E. Myers displayed innovation and out-of-the-box execution to complete this challenging project!
Upgrading the Gateway to Roxford 345kV transmission line presented our team with a variety of unique challenges. Avoiding an interstate while building, transporting lattice structures across the Mississippi River, and constructing the towers on a 100-year flood plain were just some of the issues our teams found solutions for to update the 13.5-mile stretch of transmission line. “With the team’s safety-first approach, thoughtful planning, creative, out-of-the-box execution and ability to pivot in the face of unexpected challenges, the project was successfully completed on time,” ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR Magazine wrote about the two-year-long endeavor which was recognized with a NECA Project Excellence Award.
