How can nurses impact change? I am calling on my nurse connections/friends in Texas who are not members of TNA to join. Additionally, if you know a LVN in Texas who is not a member, consider sponsoring them and let our LVNs be a part of TNA. Together, we can drive change and empower nurses to be the voice of impactful transformation. We need our nurses. #NursesForChange #TexasNurses #Empowerment

Nursing is this strange world where you check out entirely from your own life to dive head first, knee deep into the drama, struggles, challenges, achievements, successes & deepest darkest truths of complete strangers, 12 hours at a time. Then back to your regular life. We all know the feeling - caring for others more than we care for ourselves. As the week draws to a close, I want to take a moment to encourage all the Nurses out there. Remember, you are the Patient first. You can’t pour out of an empty cup. Fill up your cup first. Self-care is crucial. We need safe nurses. Take care of yourself first, and then show up for the people under your care . #NursingCommunity #SelfCare #PatientFirst

Happy #InternationalNursesDay! Alcidion would like to thank all nurses for their hard work, compassion, and commitment to patient care. In Australia, nurses make up 54% of all healthcare professionals! New Zealand has 54,465 nurses compared to 18,780 practicing doctors, and in the UK, 423,000 nurses and midwives to 188,000 doctors. Nursing is an essential component of modern healthcare, but too often, faces financial constraints and societal undervaluation. #IND2024 aims to reshape perceptions, demonstrating how strategic investment in nursing can bring considerable economic and societal benefits. Here are some resources to explore from the ICN-International Council of Nurses on this year’s theme: Our Nurses. Our Future. The economic power of care. https://hubs.ly/Q02wSySj0

I am assisting in a culture change in my workplace, and I'm embracing the quiet chaos, unsure questions, and variable types of input from my colleagues (from techs to nurses to doctors). It's enriching to see my colleagues truly want to understand what is changing and how this is going to benefit our patients and department. I say this because, while many of us nurses who work in the legal setting may discuss the shortcomings of others, as a whole, nurses and the healthcare community do want safe and effective healthcare solutions that work for both the providers and the patients. #culturechange #nurse #ernurse #expert #legalexpert #emergencydepartment #emergencyroom #nursingculture #esi #education

Nursing expert with 6 years of leadership experience in emergency medicine & cardiac surgery 💙 | DEI & integration management 🌍 | Health economist 📊 | Mental health advocate 🧠
As a health economist my heart skips a beat. The economic power of care 😍 ICN-International Council of Nurses published this report due to the international nurses day in 2024. It shows very clear, that nursing does not only effect the patient well-being but also the economics and peace. Based on valide sources they show the impact of investements into primary health care and its effects on the world population. Nursing is much more than what we see on the outside. But we have to have a very serious and close look to be able to understand what this is all about. In the upcoming days, I will share the key insights to show how valuable nursing is and what we as a society should know. #hospital #nurses #future #keyinsights #healtheconomics #nursesmanagement #pflege #pflegemanagement #management
