I've been watching with great interest the developments of 5G Broadcast over the past 3 or so years. I still think we have quite a ways to go before we see deployment beyond POCs, but the technology is promising. Razman posts in interesting question about this though, who builds the infrastructure and who operates it? This is the age old question. Broadcasters own the content rights and their TV licenses and Telcos own infrastructure. These are 2 very different business models and someone has to bridge the gap in my opinion. https://lnkd.in/gXNzMxDH
My esteemed colleague Aytac Biber provides an excellent summary on 5G Broadcast ... thanks Aytac

On Public Radio Broadcasting Day, observed annually on January 13, the world celebrates a very special piece of technology — the radio. This day honors those who created public broadcasting and invented the radio. While we don’t know the exact origin of this day, we know it was founded to honour the birth of radio broadcasting. Italian inventor and electrical engineer Guglielmo Marconi proved the possibility of radio communication when he sent and received his first radio transmission in 1895. Marconi's invention revolutionized communication and revolutionized the ability to communicate over long distances. His invention paved the way for modern radio communications and the development of new technologies. Public Radio Broadcasting Day is a testament to Marconi's legacy and the impact of his invention on our lives today. Hashtags such as #PublicRadioBroadcastingDay and #RadioRevolution are used to unite people in recognizing the impact of radio on society and to highlight the continued relevance of this technology in the digital age. #StingrayMediaSolutions #StingrayMedia #BusinessGrowth #DigitalMarketingSolution #digitalmarketing #CanadianBusiness #RadioBroadcasting #Radio #StingrayRadio #DigitalRadio
