I like incorporating multilingual books, songs, and music into the classroom environment. Additionally, I celebrate each child's language during circle time and other group activities. Recognizing the diversity of our community is important because it supports children in fostering cultural identity and self-esteem. It also promotes cognitive and linguistic development.

I like to invite our students and their families to share words of importance to them with me so that I can incorporate their language in my communication with them. Additionally, I am sure to include multicultural books and invite my families to share their holidays and traditions with us throughout the year.
