#Interest rates refer to the cost of borrowing money or the return on investment capital. They are expressed as a percentage and can vary widely depending on several factors: 1. Purpose: Interest rates differ based on whether they apply to borrowing (e.g., loans, credit cards) or saving (e.g., savings accounts, bonds). 2. Market Forces: Supply and demand in financial markets influence interest rates. When demand for loans is high, rates tend to rise, and vice versa. 3. Central Banks: Central banks like the Federal Reserve set key interest rates (e.g., federal funds rate) that influence the broader economy. 4. Risk: Lenders charge higher rates for riskier borrowers or investments to compensate for higher default risk. 5.Economic Conditions: Rates can reflect broader economic health. During periods of growth, rates might rise to curb inflation; during recessions, they may fall to stimulate spending and investment. Understanding interest rates is crucial for individuals and businesses alike, as they impact everything from mortgage payments and savings returns to the affordability of consumer loans and the attractiveness of investment opportunities.

Starting BOK rate cut cycle is imminent. But rate cut expectation is already priced in the market and net selling from foreign investors is not in favor of KTB. Given that there are still buying on the dip demands, it will be a battle of how much cheaper to add KTB when rates rise. No hurry
