I think the upcoming Run & Gun event may be routed past the cabin…road now freshly mowed: “Challenge Shooting Sports is hosting the BigWoods Run n Gun at The BigWoods on the Trinity Ranch in Tennessee Colony, TX. Saturday's event will consist of 8 shooting stations, a 10K course, and obstacles along the way. Sunday's event will consist of 6 shooting stations, a 5K course, and obstacles along the way. Obstacles will include things like flipping tractor tires, crawling under barbed wire, and smashing through a steel breacher door. Come join us for an epic weekend of shooting, competition, and comradery. This event will be a 2-gun biathlon A.K.A “Run & Gun”. Competitors will navigate a set course of fire carrying both a rifle and pistol. The event will have unique obstacles, both natural and man-made along the course. Competition scoring will weigh shooting as 60% overall score and run time as 40% overall score.” 👋 Hi, I’m Dawson. Todd Proctor & Nick Rozsa discuss the ingredients brewed into an El Niño rich year of waves o'plenty, and the defined crafts and step-up surfboards tuned to enjoy every bit of power that's been on tap. Explore the Proctor Surfboards step-up surfboard and gun surfboard lineup here: https://lnkd.in/gaJYws_x Surfboards discussed in this video: Supertyphoon: a whippy fins-free, high performance board that also holds a rail in a drawn out arc https://lnkd.in/gzSj_6EG Ante-Up: for when the waves are getting a bit bigger and punchier than your regular shortboard can handle. The Ante Up is that little extra you need to get into bigger waves easier and maintain the balance of speed and stability necessary to rip on the overhead dream days. https://lnkd.in/gtGH-gJi Pipecleaner: A gun for hollow, powerful barrels. Feel right at home when hangin’ deep with the foamball. https://lnkd.in/gKwBXJvT West Peak: A gun for double overhead and bigger; typically a travel board unless you live in Mainland Mexico, the North Shore, or somewhere like that. Perfect for the days where the playing field is large-scale and there is “a lot” of water moving. https://lnkd.in/g_MeF-H3 https://lnkd.in/gUzuPRBC

THE FAWN is a PSA from UNITED SENSE OF AMERICA. The film graphically underscores that assault weapons, designed for war, are unnecessary for sports hunting and should not be in schools. "The film, painful and unavoidable, forces the viewer to imagine someone else’s finger on the trigger and something else as its target. While the scene itself is graphic, the messaging is a matter of fact. There simply is no defensible reason or excuse for assault weapons being necessary for sports hunting in our society. Weapons of war are designed for a battlefield, not our children’s schools." Director: Rubberband. Executive Producers: Patrick Milling Smith • Sue Yeon Ahn Producer: Manny Caston Colorist: Yerlan Tanayev Production Company: Smuggler WARNING: Contains violent imagery and may be upsetting to some viewers. https://lnkd.in/dmXnqtsD

Author. Combatives trainer. Now with 52 years experience from military police, Texas police, private investigations. Hock teaches in 10 allied countries a year, for 29 years.
This weekend in the Royal Range in Nashville, in the 'MERICA III seminar, my section will be "Interrupting the Quick Draw." But in doing so, I must cover as prep, Stop 6 problems. * Identify situations. * Identifying knife and gun carriers. * Identifying knife and gun carry sites on the body. * Identify reasons why guns and knives are drawn. * Identify many physical tip-offs of quick draws. * Identify your drawn decisions (see photo attached). * Identify the elbow and-or hand position of common draws. * use arm-elbow-hand-catch grappling of many draws. * and more... The photo describes the decision steps of a draw. Some people think it's just "shoot-don't shoot." But life...situations and circumstances define the big picture. -Sometimes, why are you there? Why can't, didn't you leave? -Sometimes, why actually did you see fit to draw? -Sometimes, weapon out, but should you aim it? -Sometimes, shoot-don't shoot? -Sometimes, stay or don't stay? Wait-don't wait? All this and way more in my FORCE NECESSARY: GUN (and Knife course) course, which is nothing but sims ammo combat scenarios. No live fire. "Marksmanship aside, you are not really learning how to gunfight unless you are training versus moving, thinking people who are shooting back at you (sims)." - Hock https://lnkd.in/gFnCTFpa
