Tirupati Graphite Plc said it has completed the latest exploration and resource drilling programme at its two Madagascan flake graphite projects.  An updated Competent Persons Report (CPR) is now being prepared by SRK Consulting and is expected to be published in the near term. As part of the programme, Tirupati carried out  5,000 metres of diamond core drilling, 26,000 metres of auger drilling and 360 running metres of six to eight metres depth trenching across the two projects. At present, Tirupati’s two projects in Madagascar, Vatomina and Sahamamy have resources of 18.4Mt and 7.1Mt at grades of 4.6% and 4.2% respectively. Shishir Poddar, Executive Chairman, said: “We expect the updated CPR to show a material increase in our resource numbers underlining the long-term potential of our currently operating and expanded projects in Madagascar. Helix Exploration PLC has passed another important milestone on the road to its first helium well, with drilling expected to get underway in the third quarter. It did so by sharing with the market the results of an independent analysis, or scoping study, of its assets along Montana Helium Fairway. The study indicates a net present value (NPV8) of $303.1 million using a helium price of $550 per thousand cubic feet (Mcf) and a helium grade of 1.5%. It highlights an initial capital expenditure (CAPEX) requirement of $19.7 million - bang in line with estimates. The project is expected to generate net revenue of $605.6 million after CAPEX, operational expenses (OPEX), taxes, and royalties over a 29-year life of the mine (LOM). Touchstone Exploration Inc. (AIM:TXP, TSX:TXP, OTC:PBEGF) told investors it has made a "great start" to the year, as it reported the successful drilling of the Cascadura-2 well, which promises to significantly increase production volumes at the field in Trinidad. Drilled to a depth of 7,132 feet, Cascadura-2 was cut short of its intended 8,300 feet target depth as the company opted to preserve a significant pay section after encountering a high-pressure gas zone. Analysis of drilling data revealed a total sand thickness of around 525 feet within the targeted Herrera formation. The well, now being prepared for casing, is scheduled for production testing directly into the Cascadura natural gas facility in the third quarter. The company also noted the imminent start of drilling for the Cascadura-3 development well. GTI Energy Ltd (ASX:GTR) (OTC:GTRIF) has had a positive start to drilling at the 100%-owned Lo Herma ISR #Uranium Project in Wyoming’s prolific Powder River Basin with mineralisation intersected meeting expectations for economic ISR mining methods. The first 10 drill holes of a 76-hole campaign were completed for 1,908 metres (6,260 feet) in the first three days of drilling with eight holes intercepting on-trend mineralisation. Best mineralised intercepts include 14.5ft at 0.0640% (640ppm) eU308 in drill hole LH-24-002 and 16.5 ft at 0.054% (540ppm) eU308 in drill hole LH-24-001.
