Tough times call for tough measures. Stealing time to complete the assignments and I am reminded of my college days. Assignment02 of the #copywriting classes from Pranita Bajoria

How difficult can copy-writing be? We all believe not even feel that writing is the easiest job ever. With a pool of suggestions pouring in from every department and giving all the directions of how it can be, you think y'all know it so well. But damn, writing one objective, one mission, one vision, gazillions times with a new perspective is not really everyone's cup of tea. That is why we have a separate department of communication, existing in every team. Here's to my attempt at copy-writing with the help of Pranita Bajoria. A pen that works like a pencil: I would like to call it Innovapen. A pen that allows no use of whitener and freely make mistakes just to be erased and feel like a fresh copy again. We all will love it especially for the forms that mandates capital letters when we mistakingly starts with small, wrong cheque details, black and blue pen use, and what not?! This exercise and course time is allowing me to dig my creative side and realise the potential of giving just the right copy. Education is an interesting space. The deeper you delve, the more you understand how the dynamics of the educational landscape change as you move geographically. Even with just a 200 km distance, you encounter shifts in educational sources, pedagogical approaches, and their implementation, which makes learning relevant. It was insightful to hear the panelists' thoughts on various educational divides and how they are being bridged through the incorporation of employable skills into the curriculum, the focus on developing local contextual resources, the involvement of teacher agencies, the equitable promotion of digitization, and the sensitization and introduction of parental control towards digital education, etc. While Reach to Teach has highlighted the necessary pointers below for building an effective learning space, I'm curious: what are some of the simple innovations or solutions you have come across in your local landscape to make education effective? #IndiaEducationSummit #IES2024 #MakingLearningJoyful #ReachtoTeach

Expanding Your College Network: Beyond the Classroom College events have always excited me. While learning about a friend's upcoming fresher's event, I couldn't help but wonder why we're often limited to creating college groups based on specific classes or courses. I shared the idea and voila - a whole community group was formed. Here are a few reasons why you should consider interacting with people outside of your course too: 1. The Power of Community and Networking Recently, while working on an office event to be held in New York, I realized the incredible value of connections. I saw how networking made it possible to organize an event in NYC while being in India. Your network from college, school, previous workplaces, etc., may play a crucial role in your journey. You never know who might be where and how they could lend a helping hand. Always, always network because a strong network can turn the impossible into the possible. 2. Masters Can Be Tough Learning from my friend's experience, I got to know about the challenges one may face. Pursuing a master's degree can be highly competitive. Everyone seems to be in a constant battle, whether with others, themselves, or in challenging situations. During such times, having a support system for tasks like finding a PG or a flatmate, someone to answer placement questions, or to give you tips on how to survive your master (:P) can significantly reduce stress. 3. Starting a New Project/Startup/Club Forming a college club can be challenging, especially when you don't have enough people to join from the limited circle you know. Having a larger community can help you experiment with forming groups and innovative solutions, opening doors to more creative collaborations. The limit of collaboration is endless! Stepping out of your comfort zone is the best way to challenge yourself and explore unknown territories. Share your experiences or connect with me to brainstorm more ideas. Ups and Downs of Emotional Chart Regulate Your Life, Work the Start It always seems hard to take the first step. Usually, your emotions, moods, and fears hold you back. But what if these factors didn't exist? What would you be doing then? To my many first steps, I took in the last couple of months: 1. I took charge of my finances and started my investment journey. To date, I've worked 9 different jobs and I have never looked at what's happening to the money getting accumulated in my account. My father and brother have been in charge of handling it and I never even minded it much. I never also felt the happiness of getting my paycheck because I haven't really used the money I've earned. I did literate myself financially last year but yet too scared to ask my father to take charge of it. I took a deep breath, asked for it, and got it. It's liberating, it's empowering, it's powerful. 2. I stepped out of my comfort zone and moved to a different city for work. Overwhelming is not enough to describe the feeling of leaving a city you've always lived in and moving to a new place you know nothing about. What helped? Human connections, taking charge of my emotions and actions, learning more about myself and accepting it, and just be, be there for yourself, be you, and be there in the new place and absorb it. 3. I learned to accept and draw healthy boundaries. People pleasing, fear of upsetting close ones holds you from expressing what you really want to say. You do it happily till the point it becomes unhealthy not just for you but for the other person as well. Yes, the other person too, because you're motivating the other person to proceed in an unsuitable manner. I started by understanding my patterns, understanding the other person's pattern, and reminding myself again and again to take a step back. Now I am continuing with bringing small changes, expressing small things, and sharing a few opinions. These steps are a reminder of how small a step you take, it's always a way forward, and not backward.
