Something to think about regarding #gender_equality in the #corporate world. Many factors indeed play a role in the current status quo. However, do you think the situation would completely flip if more #women trusted their gut instincts and took risks in starting their own #businesses? I've been recently meeting so many male #entrepreneurs and business #owners who want to grow their businesses. It made me wonder why haven't I met enough women owning their own non-fashion, cooking or content creation business in this part of the world? The number of women owning retail, online, or any other type of businesses in the Gulf is actually very limited. Can we have another Alghanim, BNK or Alsayer owned by a Gulfie/Arab woman? May be this will absolutely change the entire situation for Arab women in here. Just a thought after a long day of back-to-back meetings with males owning their own businesses while recruiting women to lead and grow their concepts. On another note, proud to be witnessing Sheikha Dana Al Sabah being acknowledged by Forbes Middle East on her #leadership role at OSN.

Here’s what she has to say about her experience so far: "As I sit here reflecting on my journey to becoming the first female head of trade in Iraq and the Middle East region, I am overcome with a sense of pride and accomplishment. It is a milestone that goes beyond personal achievement, it symbolizes the progress we have made in shattering stereotypes and breaking down barriers for women in traditionally male-dominated roles.   Women have made significant strides in various sectors, yet there remains a noticeable gap in certain roles, particularly in trade. Stepping into this position, I recognized the challenges that lay ahead as I often find myself being the only woman at the table during meetings.
