Why am I feeling out of sorts since starting my flower essence?   Sometimes as our energy begins to shift into a new pattern, we need a period of adjustment. That being said, it’s also important to ask yourself what has changed in your life, to rule out any external factors. The initial feeling of balance and change can be unsettling, especially if you’ve been in a pattern for a long time. Just like trying to change the flow of a river, it can be challenging to change things in our lives. Be patient and give it time. However, if you find that you continue feeling out of sorts, discontinue using the flower essence and see if there’s a difference. It may be that flower essences are not the right protocol for you. As always, do check in with your medical professional to rule out anything that might be causing the issue. Using lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) flower essence is like getting a healing hug from someone you love. It sooths, relaxes, and helps you unwind the tangles in body, mind, and soul. It helps decrease the feelings of anxiety and fear, especially when faced with uncertainty. “Sometimes, you just need to smell a flower to feel better”, said Christine when I ran into her while carrying a bunch of peonies.     Floral or plant scents activate a feeling.
