When the military start testing battery platforms, you know they will be rigorous - especially with respect to penetration and shock testing, as well as flexible options to use this for civilian support after a weather event. The principle of having the battery system modular to allow change of battery, change of chemistry etc. is good as it allows long term flexibility as the technology evolves and advances further. GM Defense is also involved in the Innovation Unit’s Jumpstart for Advanced Battery Standardization (JABS) project. #batterystorage #military #testing https://lnkd.in/dDBw6sv7
