Starting in 2025, Cordogan Clark is proud to observe both Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Juneteenth as official company holidays. These observances align with our ongoing commitment to fostering inclusion, equality, and justice within our company and the communities we serve. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day honors the life and legacy of Dr. King, whose leadership in the Civil Rights Movement transformed the fight for racial equality in America. His message of nonviolent resistance and justice for all remains deeply relevant today. Juneteenth celebrates the end of slavery in the United States and the freedom of African Americans. It serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience and strength of those who fought for freedom and a call to continue the work toward true equality. These days not only honor the history and legacy of those who fought for freedom and equality but also reflect the core values that guide our work every day—improving our schools, housing, and community safety. Our diverse workforce represents our commitment to these principles, as we strive to create environments where everyone can thrive. By embracing inclusion, equality, and justice, we continue to empower individuals and build transformative spaces that make a positive impact in the communities we serve. #CordoganClark #CCA #MLKDay2025 #Juneteenth2025 #CelebrateEquality #InclusionMatters #HonoringLegacy

Every step forward is one more step in the right direction
Dr. King spoke these words in one of his many immortalized speeches; not that long ago. Its meaning translates to everyone on a deep and personal level. To me, it means we have to keep raising our voices and our votes for equal rights, equality, and equity. In Dr. King’s words, we have to “keep moving forward.” Take a quiet moment today and reflect on how you can be a public servant and advocate to fight racial injustice in honor of Dr. King and his teachings. Wishing you all a meaningful Martin Luther King Jr. Day! #teamcvs #cvshealth #cvs #mlk #equality #peace #mlk2024

How swiftly January is drawing to a close, bringing with it a moment of reflection. As I look back on the first month of the new year, my thoughts turn to the enduring legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. I'm saddened to learn of the passing of Dexter Scott King, who, in his own right, contributed to the continuation of his family's legacy in civil rights activism. As a founder, I find inspiration in MLK's timeless words: "The time is always right to do what is right." This sentiment serves as a perpetual reminder that our commitment to social responsibility and inclusivity is not a mere checkbox but an ongoing journey—one that demands constant reflection, growth, and action. In our volunteering initiatives at Generus, we strive to embody MLK's spirit of service, understanding that meaningful change begins with collective action. We believe that by dedicating our time, resources, and energy to causes that matter, we can become agents of positive transformation. As we navigate the challenges of today, let us honor the legacies of both Martin Luther King Jr. and Dexter Scott King by fostering a world where justice, equality, and love prevail. May their impact continue to guide us in creating a better future for all. #DexterScottKing #SocialJustice

Following Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and in the spirit of Civil Rights, today we celebrate National Day of Racial Healing. Racial healing is a process we all must go through as individuals, communities, and collectives to make steps toward racial equality. Here are actions community leaders can take to encourage racial healing: - Understand and acknowledge your community’s racial history. - Acknowledge that everyone has implicit bias, and do your personal work to learn from that. - Work on creating policies that will bolster diversity, equity, and inclusion. #KHDS #Kenosha #Equality
