One question by a farmer.👇🏻 In Zerograzing goats are to be allowed to eat on their own whatever the quantity they eat voluntarily? #It is impossible to calculate daily ration for each and every animal as per Bodyweight. #Voluntary intake is required,Not to do forced feeding. #Restricted ration is not advised. But, whatever the feed is offered, it should be balanced. For ex : if to feed only Roughages , both Legumes and Non-legumes are to be given by mixing at the rate of 3:1 or 3:2( NL : L ) as per physical and physiological need of animals. If concentrate feed is also offered, it should be min 0.5% of Bwt ( Max 1.5 % of Bwt ) ..But should be given along with Roughages only in a ratio of 3:1 or 3:2( R : CF). A. Singh.

What does pull through marketing look like with Top Dollar Angus? Many customers ask us what makes Top Dollar Angus different when it comes to our promotion of feeder calves. The next question always is where our feeding industry contacts are located. The answer to this question has always been difficult fo rus to answer in a way that is easy for producers to picture. Luckily with the advancements in technology, and the use of the U.S. Postal Services ZIP Code system, we are finally able to provide an objective visual where they’re located. Below is the map of where feedlots that Top Dollar Angus communicates with and promote to are located. This data was sourced from our database of current feeders that receive eblast/text messages/phone calls. I will cover how those promotions work next week. Each location dot represents one zip code, keep in mind that zip codes like those for Scott City, KS, Norfolk, NE, and a few others represent 2 or more locations in that area. This map is of the Midwest Region, we do have feedyards in Idaho and the Northwest that we work with as well. Hopefully this map helps you visualize the reach that Top Dollar Angus has when it comes to feeder calf promotion. Our focus is to continually add more contacts to this group, helping to ensure that the audience for your cattle continues to grow! I am always happy to share what we are learning from feeders and all our customers, so reach out anytime you want to learn more. #beefgenetics #pullthrough #providingpromotion
