"I joined Nalam & Associates in 2021, without fully understanding what a Company Secretary (CS) does, as most people are more familiar with the role of a Chartered Accountant. However, after joining, I learned a great deal about the profession. I gained hands-on experience working on the MCA portal, learning how companies are incorporated, the sections that apply to companies, and the various compliance requirements after a company is established. I also learned how to handle GST registrations and filings, updating data, managing invoices, sales, and purchases, and billing processes. Additionally, I learned to file Income Tax Returns (ITR), which I found to be both useful and interesting as it involved understanding the regulations and completing the filing process. During my time there, I quickly absorbed a lot of new information, driven by my strong interest in learning new things. I’m not someone who likes to do the same task repeatedly; I believe that the more skills and knowledge you acquire, the better it is for your growth. While I was a trainee, I handled my tasks with dedication and honesty for two years, after which I was awarded a certificate, which made me very proud. One of the key things I learned during this time is how to find solutions to any query—whether related to company matters, GST, or anything else—by researching through Google or other sources. This skill has stayed with me, and I continue to apply it in my work today. I am committed to handling all tasks efficiently and am also exploring opportunities as a freelancer."

Well, just waited for a perfect moment to share my first post.. and it couldn't have been better! CLEARED CA INTERMEDIATE IN THE VERY FIRST ATTEMPT!! Had an absolute rollercoaster ride all the 9 months. And now I would say this is the best moment of my life. Clearing CA Intermediate was always the goal but going through in the very first attempt is just an icing on the cake! It would be very unfair if I say I've cleared all by myself without any support.. there's a list of members but would love to mention a few: 1. Family- No words to describe the hardwork they had put in for me to achieve this result. Without them I wouldn't even plan for writing both the groups.. 2. CA Anil Anna- A busy Chartered Accountant who always made time for me, to keep me motivated, and give all those valuable tips.. Thanks a lot Anil Kumar Tenneti anna. 3. CA Akhil Sir- A person whom I met in my CA Foundation days and has been a constant supporter so far. Thanks a lot CA Akhil Sai Sivapuram sir. Also a big thanks to all the faculties who helped me during my multiple revisions Bhanwar Borana sir, Shubham Keswani sir, CA Balakrishna Kovuru sir and Shubham Singhal sir. Now I'm open to work for the next 2 years as an Article Trainee. Goals to be achieved in this period: 1. Learn as much as possible from my seniors. 2. Help the organisation grow in every way possible. 3. Building network. 4. Gain a good working experience. Have a great day!

Embarking on a Dual Journey: CS Executive Student & B.Com Pursuer | CSEET Cleared on First Attempt | Aiming for Success in Group 2
🚀 Why Pursuing Professional Courses Alongside Graduation is a Game-Changer for Aspiring Company Secretaries? 📈 As an aspiring Company Secretary (CS), one of the most frequently asked questions I encounter is: Why should we undertake professional courses like CA, CS, or CMA alongside our graduation? 🤔 Here’s why integrating these professional courses with your graduation can be a powerful career move: 1. **Enhanced Expertise and Credibility**: Professional courses like CS, CA, and CMA provide specialized knowledge that complements your academic education. This combination not only enhances your expertise but also boosts your credibility in the competitive corporate world. 🌟 2. **Increased Career Opportunities**: Holding dual qualifications opens up a broader spectrum of career opportunities. For instance, a CS with a background in B.Com or LLB is particularly well-equipped for roles that demand a robust understanding of both commerce and law. This makes you a valuable asset to any organization. 📚💼 3. **Strategic Advantage**: Completing these courses alongside your graduation often means you can enter the job market with a more comprehensive skill set and a head start over peers. This strategic advantage can be crucial in landing top positions and excelling in your career. 🚀 4. **Holistic Understanding**: For CS aspirants, combining a B.Com or LLB with CS provides a holistic understanding of business practices, financial regulations, and legal frameworks. This integrated knowledge is essential for effective corporate governance and strategic decision-making. ⚖️📊 5. **Networking and Growth**: Being involved in professional courses allows you to connect with industry experts, mentors, and peers. These connections can be instrumental in gaining insights, advice, and career opportunities. 🌐🤝 Seeing all these compelling reasons, I’m currently pursuing a B.Com alongside my CS qualification. This combination is equipping me with a well-rounded perspective and the skills necessary to thrive in the corporate world. 🌟🚀 #CareerDevelopment #CompanySecretary #ProfessionalCourses #CS #BCom #LLB #CareerGrowth #Finance #Law #ProfessionalDevelopment

Communication between a CA and CA trainee for choosing Domain: CA: So, which profile are you eyeing, my dear CA trainee? Relative CA Trainee: Statutory Audit! CA: Oh, really? And why’s that? Relative CA Trainee: Because it’s a good profile. CA: A good profile, huh? How so? Relative CA Trainee: My friends told me. They’re working in that field too. CA: Ah, I see! The old "my friends are doing it" approach. Classic. But you do realize there’s a whole smorgasbord of domains in the CA field, right? You’ve got valuation, taxation, compliance, FEMA, and more. It's like being at a buffet and just picking fries because your friends said they’re good. Expand your palate, my friend

Why I Chose CS ! Why did you choose CS? A question I hear often, especially after dropping my BBA program. For me, the decision was about more than just changing courses—it was about discovering who I am. During my BBA studies, I realized that being a clerk in an office wasn’t my calling, and the idea of starting my own business seemed overwhelming. Here’s what drew me to the Company Secretary path: 1. A Clear Career Path: CS offered a roadmap to a structured and prestigious career. It wasn’t just a job—it was a profession with purpose. 2. Professional Recognition: The title of Company Secretary commands respect and authority. It’s a role that’s integral to a company’s success, and that kind of responsibility excited me. 3. Diverse Skill Set: The CS curriculum is like a toolkit for the corporate world. From company law to financial management, it equips you to handle a variety of challenges. 4. Making an Impact: As a CS, you’re not just another employee—you’re a key player in ensuring a company’s legal and ethical compliance. The chance to make a real impact was a huge draw for me. Choosing CS has been one of the best decisions of my life. It aligned with my strengths and aspirations, offering stability, recognition, and continuous learning opportunities. To anyone questioning their current path: take the time to understand yourself. Sometimes, the right decision isn’t the easiest one, but it can lead to the most fulfilling journey. #companysecretary

Why are CA students underpaid in Articleship and why do they have to do it for years instead of months? If you step back and see, the traditional role of CAs enables regulatory compliance. Auditing/taxation is required by law and entities don’t really want to spend on it. Over the years, the work to be done by CAs and compliances have only increased, but entities can’t really afford to pay so much for compliance and this is where CA articles step in and subsidise this service. While institutions may sell you that you are learning and getting paid and all, but if you remove the articleship concept from this course, who is affected the most? #charteredaccountants #caaspirants

"Breaking the Stigma : The Real Benefits Of Articleship From small CA firms." When aspiring Chartered Accountants consider their articleship options, the allure of joining a large, well-known firm often overshadows the benefits of smaller CA firms. However, the perception that bigger is always better doesn't hold true for everyone. In reality, articleship at a small CA firm can provide unique opportunities for growth, learning, and career development that are often underestimated. Here's to why completing your articleship from small CA firm can prove to be a better stepping stone for your career in CA :- 🟣Hands-on experience : In small firm because of less number of people you get to have hands on experience in various fields from taxation to audit. 🟣Close Mentorship : Beacuse of limited hierarchy in small firm you get to experience more personalized guidance and Mentorship. 🟣Direct Client Interaction : Small firms often allows direct client interaction which helps in gaining experience of how to deal with different types clients. 🟣Flexibility and Personal Relationship : Small firms provide better flexibility in worklife balance than big firms because you have direct relationship with your seniors . So, as you consider your articleship options keep in mind that success is not defined by the size of firm but by the quality of experience and learning it provides.
