Celebrating Daughters' Day: A Call for True Equality On this Daughters' Day, I can't help but reflect on the persistent inequalities that still affect our society. Despite the changing times, many still view daughters as burdens rather than blessings. The prevailing mindset seems to prioritize marriage over education, pushing our girls into traditional roles instead of encouraging them to pursue their dreams. It's disheartening to see that, even today, the focus often remains on completing a daughter's education only to hastily arrange her marriage. Many fail to realize that empowering our daughters through quality education can set them on paths to success, allowing them to shine in their careers and make their mark in the world. As we celebrate our daughters, let’s pledge to foster an environment where they are valued not just for their potential to marry, but for their capacity to lead, innovate, and inspire. We must support them in their educational pursuits, ensuring they have the tools to achieve their dreams. I hope that all daughters in India rise to prominence, carving out their identities and making significant contributions to society. Let's work together to create a world where equality is not just an ideal, but a reality. Wishing all daughters a day filled with recognition and encouragement. Your journey is just beginning, and the world is waiting for your brilliance! #womenempowerment #daughtersday #strength #future

Empowering Persons with Disabilities : A Call to Action for a Truly Inclusive India India's progress is incomplete if it leaves anyone behind . Today , as we navigate the journey toward an inclusive society , we must prioritize empowering Persons with Disabilities ( PwD ) . This isn’t just about accommodation — it’s about breaking barriers , challenging norms , and creating opportunities for all . The numbers don’t lie . Over 26 million Indians live with a disability , but this community is still largely excluded from meaningful economic and social participation . This exclusion is a loss for us all — it’s a loss of talent , innovation , and economic potential . We must recognize that empowering PwD is not an act of charity ; it’s a strategic imperative for a stronger , more resilient India . To truly empower PwD , we need to : Challenge Deep - Rooted Mindsets : Disability is not a limitation ; it’s society’s limited mindset that must change . Let’s dismantle stereotypes and shift our focus from what people can’t do to what they can — and will — achieve. Build Accessible Ecosystems : Accessibility is not a privilege ; it’s a fundamental right . We must reimagine workplaces , educational institutions , and public spaces to be accessible for all , ensuring that no one is left behind . Promote Equal Opportunities : Every hiring decision can make a difference . Organisations should consciously recruit and develop PwD talent , ensuring equal growth prospects and inclusive leadership opportunities . Commit to Policy Overhaul : It’s time for bold , comprehensive policies that go beyond lip service . From education to employment , let’s craft a framework that not only supports but elevates PwD across all stages of life . We don’t need more conversations about inclusion ; we need action that drives impact . When we empower PwD , we unlock untapped potential , catalyzing innovation and growth across every sector . It’s not just about filling quotas or ticking boxes — it’s about building a future where every Indian has the chance to contribute and lead . The urgency is real , and the time is now . Let’s move beyond rhetoric and embrace a vision of true empowerment for Persons with Disabilities — a vision where ability , not disability , defines our nation’s future . Let us commit to not just inclusion but true empowerment . This means creating environments where PwD are seen , heard , and valued for who they are — not just their abilities . When we empower Persons with Disabilities , we don’t just change individual lives — we transform communities , industries , and indeed , the nation itself .

When an 11-Year-Old Said 'No'... What were you doing at 11 years old? #PayalJangid, a young girl from a small village in #Rajasthan, was fighting a battle no child should ever have to face. Her family decided it was time for her to get married. At just 11. Yes, you read that right. Imagine the fear. The confusion. And the pressure of having to accept a future that wasn’t hers to choose. But Payal? She said, No. She refused to accept a life where her dreams didn’t matter. It wasn’t just about herself—it was about every girl in her village who was being silenced. Her bravery sparked something extraordinary. Payal went on to lead her village’s children’s parliament under the #BalMitraGraminitiative. She didn’t just stop child marriages in her own life—she fought to end the practice for everyone around her. She spoke out. She convinced families. And she helped turn her village into a place where child marriage became a thing of the past. And the world noticed. In 2019, Payal was honored with the #GoalkeepersChangemakerAward by the #Bill & #MelindaGates Foundation. But her fight isn’t about awards. It’s about giving every child a voice, the chance to dream, and the freedom to live their life on their terms. If an 11-year-old from a small village can stand up to something this big, what’s stopping us? Let this be a reminder: One act of courage can create ripples of change. What do you think about Payal’s journey? Do stories like hers inspire you to think about what’s possible? Share your thoughts in the comments—let’s keep the conversation going. #Inspiration #Courage #ChildRights #Leadership #SundayMotivation #AgainstAllOdds #GirlPower #BreakingBarriers #Empowerment #Humanity #SocialChange #YouthLeadership #GlobalImpact #Changemakers #DreamBig #BeTheChange #ActNow #WomenEmpowerment #VoicesOfChange #HopeForFuture

Happy Independence Day! Is it really happy?? Is it happy for the family of that girl who sacrifice her life to serving for those people who don't even know the meaning of LIFE? Or abhi bhi Society kahegi "Ladkiyo ko Night shift nhi karna chahiye" The Culprit is still a girl???? Women are not safe anywhere - Neither outside nor in Homes - Neither in short clothes nor in Sarees& burkhas - Neither Single nor After Marriage - Neither in schools/colleges nor in Temples Then why not focus on correcting ourselves & society rather than Pointing on Girls! #justice #girls #society #justiceindia

"I am running a mission to bring together all the Sanatanis and religious families of the country. Nowadays, many problems arise when it comes to the marriage of children in Hindu families. From finding a match for the children to getting married, a atmosphere of fear is created in the families because they are confused about who to trust and who to talk to regarding their children's relationships. In the past, family members used to find matches for their children's arranged marriages together, but now they are telling their children to find their own matches. Families living in small towns have their own set of problems when it comes to their children's marriages, while children working or doing business in big cities face different kinds of problems. NRI children also face many problems in their relationships. It is difficult for divorced children to find a new match, and children who earn high packages have such high expectations that no one can fulfill them, making it the most difficult for them to find a match. In the future, your children will also get married, and you will also have to find a match for your children. Therefore, the Made4ever company is moving forward to show the relationships of children from respectable families through a healthy society and healthy system, so that your children's future is happy. I am trying to connect with you through social media, so that you can also share the vision and mission of Made4ever with your friends and relatives and tell them about it in your social circle. Thank you." #made4ever #vision #mission #game #changer #in #society

Breaking Stereotypes: A Drive Towards Equality. Every now and then, on Bangalore roads, I hear the age-old comment, “There, that’s a woman driver—beware.” It’s hurtful, misogynistic, and a reflection of deeper societal issues. But there’s a grain of truth in why this perception exists. Women have been oppressed by men and society for so long that many are just now starting to take the wheel, literally. Like every challenge, the solution lies in two parts: 1. Women Taking the Wheel: More women need to shed the fears, overcome the oppression, ignore the insults, and get behind the wheel. I strongly believe that, just as in every other field, women on the roads can bring a much-needed sense of discipline. They follow the rules meticulously—perhaps another result of patriarchal conditioning—but it’s a positive one. Drive with confidence, even if you start with those “Learner” symbols on your car. You never know how much confidence another woman might draw from seeing you behind the wheel. Just ignore the honking breed, break it and slay it. 2. Men Showing Patience and Respect: Men, including myself, need to be more patient with women drivers. It’s time we stopped the misogynistic remarks and spoke up when others make them. I commit to not saying anything foul to women drivers and to speaking up every time I hear something inappropriate from a cab driver, auto driver, co-passenger, or anyone else—regardless of their gender. Let’s drive towards a more equal and respectful society, both on and off the road. Here is one video I found capturing the essence, found it to be the best of the lot. 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙛𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙨𝙩? - We all are same, all cultures are same at core , then why something like female foeticide don't exist in west, Female foeticide used to happen in west in ancient and medieval times, but not now, all cultures are same, but not all are equally evolved, eastern countries are far behind in treating their women with dignity than west, west was no different but have evolved far faster, even some European travellers who visited india in middle ages was shocked at the treatment of women they saw, saying it was far worse than there own homeland, but the condition in eastern countries, specifically india, is more similar to the middle ages even now, And it all comes down to 1) economic opportunity available to women, 2) The concept of dowry which is now called gift 3)Greed of parents/collectivist society/joint family system. 4) Girls being the honor of family, thus need to be protected(or restricted?) 5) and last but not less, the passiveness of Indian women to demand for there rights. #femalefoeticide #Liberty #dowry

Day 14 of the #16Days of Activism honours Simpi Soni, a 14-year-old girl from a village in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, whose courage and determination have defied the odds stacked against her. Simpi’s father, a farmer, always believed in her potential and pushed her to pursue her dreams, while her mother’s restrictions could have held her back. But it was her father’s words that kept her going: “koshish nahi karogi toh pata kaise chalega” (If you don’t try, how will you know?). When Simpi was selected for Milaan’s Girl Icon Program, she knew it was her chance to change not only her own life but the lives of the girls around her. In a village where girls are often seen as nothing more than homemakers, Simpi broke free from these limitations. Her mission became clear when, after a training session, she learned of two sisters, aged 14 and 16, who were being forced into marriage. Simpi couldn’t sit back and watch. With the support of her peer group, she stood up to the oppressive forces of her community. Even when words failed, she turned to the police, ensuring the girls were saved from a life of bondage. Simpi didn’t stop there. She saved another girl from the same fate, helping her family understand that child marriage is not just a tradition, but a crime. Her courage, strength, and relentless advocacy have led her to prevent three child marriages in her community. Simpi’s story isn’t just about one girl’s journey—it's about the power of a girl who refuses to accept the limits imposed on her. She’s using her voice to fight for every girl who dreams of something more. Her mission is clear: no girl should be denied her future. Simpi’s voice is a spark, and her actions are a flame. She is proof that when girls rise, they can change the world. Simpi proves there is #NoExcuse to get girls married young or bind them to a life that robs them of their dreams. #16DaysOfActivism #NoChildMarriage #GirlsRights #EmpoweredGirls #MilaanFoundation #YouthLeadership #VoicesForChange #StopChildMarriage #EndChildMarriage #NoExcuse
