Resilience ! The Unwavering Strength The African entrepreneur's journey is not for the faint-hearted. It's a path marked by perseverance in the face of economic volatility, political uncertainty, and societal complexities. It's a resilience that goes beyond the bottom line, embodying the undying spirit to push forward, no matter the odds, one that speaks to the very essence of the continent's spirit. It's a narrative of depth and insight, highlighting the unique qualities that define African entrepreneurs and the profound impact we on the world at large. Born out of necessity, African entrepreneurs are masters of innovation. We face challenges that may seem insurmountable, but we see opportunity where others see obstacles. We turn resource constraints into catalysts for creativity, birthing novel solutions to pressing problems. This mindset not only fuels local progress but positions us as global pioneers for world future innovation.

Love this from James! Nothing better than seeing the amazing business trajectory of our old Great British Entrepreneur Awards & Community winners! This year's lineup of shortlisted entrepreneurs is absolutely staggering and I can't wait to see who will be crowned Great British Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 at the awars in November (better crack on with organising it)!!! #GBEA #entrepreneurship
For a business geek, this was better than winning an Oscar or lifting the World Cup! 🏆 My heroes have never been movie stars, pop stars or sports people. my heroes have always been my favourite businesspeople. People who built remarkable businesses, people who created jobs, people who created brilliant products and people who created enduring companies. All my favourite people to spend time with are entrepreneurs. All my books are business books, and my favourite hobby is helping start-up businesses get going. I was therefore incredibly humbled and honoured to be named Great Britain's Entrepreneur Of The Year in 2014. It was the last business competition I ever entered. I thought I would go out on a high. Good luck to all the amazing entrepreneurs in this year's awards!

Business Growth + Tech Strategy to Scale, Improve or Exit your SME Profitably! #1 Best Selling Author of “A Woman’s Work”
We graduated 🎓 The last 12 months on the Natwest Entrepreneur Accelerator have been AMAZING! Some of the highlights: - Having a coach. She believed in me, challenged me (for my highest good) and encouraged me to overcome my fear of public speaking. I’ve since delivered my SCALE training to 80+ entrepreneurs, spoken on a panel to over 100 people and even been asked to do a women’s TEDx Talk! - The network. These people are the best. They get the struggle. They listen and understand. - The pizza! This needs no explanation! On to the next chapter!
