Over time, the giver may feel unvalued, leading to emotional distance or even the withdrawal of love altogether. Appreciation is the cornerstone that sustains love, ensuring that both the giver and receiver feel valued and cherished. Without it, even the strongest bonds can weaken, ultimately leading to loss and regret. To maintain and deepen love, it’s essential to consistently express gratitude and recognize the value of the love we receive.
